Stayed only 1 night for a gig in Camden. On the edge of Camden town. closer to Mornington Crescent station. Very vibrant pub. Good sociable place. The 10 Bed Mixed Ensuite Dorm is spacious. Don't expect a quiet lounge to chill in.

Stayed only 1 night for a local gig. The hostel is HUGE. Very spacious. The best kitchen i've ever seen in a hostel. It's a weekday so there's no noise from the downstairs Bowling place.

Quite a big hostel. Rooftop terrace and the bar is nice. Encountered a couple of large, loud British uni groups during my stay. Depends - the place is good for party with a group of friends, perhaps not so when you're traveling alone. Clean and spacious dorm even for the 14-bed one. Toilet flush not working at one day but sorted later at night.

Makuto Backpackers Hostel

One the coolest hostel I've ever stayed. The building itself is interesting. In a slightly hidden quarter in Albaicin. Not as hard to find as you'd think. Got a middle bunk in the 8-bed dorm. Tricky but manageable. I really like the vibe. Bar, tree house, hammocks. Super chill. In one sunny afternoon I just couldn't stand the heat and went back to relax. Very friendly staff, like a big family. Best for solo. Mojito is a must.

It's a cool hostel! shame I just stayed over for the weekend. Breakfast can be improved. Noise - yes, the neighbourhood is generally loud at weekend nights. They didn't check my ID when I left my bag before checking-in time.. SECURITY guys! I could be a nobody just popping in! still considering coming back when i'm down in LDN. hopefully the next time the terrace is done and no 'canvas tunnel' more.

Had a really great time with Howard and other travellers! cycling around the city, checking out local market, movie evening.. i remember how confused i was when I first arrived i was like stepping in someone house's living room..Are you a guest here or actually checking me in as an owner? ha! If you opt for fancy interior and facilities, it's not the place for you.

Really helpful and patient staff explaining me everything once again after someone checked in right before me! My locker was broken (not robbery and stuff it's just it couldn't be locked properly) and they returned the lock deposit immediately, which is good~ I spent a night only and arrived late. it's a great place to chill though. Missed the music night. Gutted!

Stayed for 3 nights. Upper bunk beds are real high! Big lockers. Fairly big showers, a bit cold, and i'm not sure if it's enough for everyone. Happy hour beer!! Breakfast (to be paid extra)could be better. Spacious staircase. Like-new washing and drying machines. Separated cores (bar, common area, kitchen area). Friendly and helpful staff. Generally a good stay.

I stayed for a night only. It's a BIG hostel. 10min walk to King X. Good security - key card entrance+door guard after 11pm when I arrived. Nice bar scene downstairs. There're quite a number of large groups - solo travellers just be aware of that. Some staff are friendly. The bunks're not the usual ones. Tiny overhead lockers. Could have been cleaner and more tidy.

Returned since the last stay in June. 1 of the shower on G/F have been refurbished. much roomy than before. but I'm not sure if there're actually less toilets and showers for guests (esp. big dorms are on G/F). No hot water+ the shower was clogged on the last night. very unlucky. Cleaners can be more polite. the emotionless 3-word 'Sorry. I clean.' seems to me aggressive. Like the little screen at the dorm door - useful info, even the names of your dormmates...

It's like living as a local for a couple of days. particularly like blening in with others at the tram/bus terminal in rush hours. The residential area is in fact convenient. Streets're quiet which means you can have really good sleeps. Not a big hostel therefore a great chance to meet people. Friendly staff~

Great location. Free basic breakfast. Stayed in a 8-bed dorm - with wash basin. quite spacious. with 2 sockets only. 1 of the underbed lockers cannot work at all because of the layout of bunk beds. Bring BIG padlocks. Beds're not numbered. The street gets noisy since quite early morning. 40mins limit free wifi with Global Gossip .

Proximate to Rome Termini. Great bar downstair. 2 issues when i arrived: 1) Bedsheets're not changed while the staff said no one stayed in the room before us. We got the new ones and free towels as kind of compensation, which is fine. 2) Chargers of rental IPad/laptop were broken. maybe it's just us being unlucky. Seperate shower & toilet in ensuit room which is good. A bit expensive.

Returning for 1 night since last Xmas for a concert. 8-bed male dorm. Like the little shelf beside the bed. Strong bunk, didn't feel any when your neighnour move. Not so spacious, yet none of the mates in the room had massive luggage so it's fine. May need more sockets in 1/F bathroom for hairdryers.

Curtains and small lights on bed provide good privacy. Small bathrooms and toilets, tall guys may find it a bit hard to use.
