Bit of a party hostel, not a great place to meet people as a solo traveller, good hostel but clearly a chain and lacking soul.
No lockers in the rooms and the rooms are VERY warm. The staff are not super helpful - when I asked if they knew how to get to a certain airport their answer was to say 'maybe there is a train' & to look up a website. Atmosphere is average but location is good. I'd stay here again but it's far from amazing
Nice place. Does the job. Good location. Toilets don't work very well but comfortable bed. Not a hostel - if you want to meet people stay elsewhere.
Quite possibly the best hostel I've ever stayed at. More like a hotel in some ways. Great rooftop terrace and bar. Comfy big beds with individual lights and power points. Great pillows. Amazing showers. Rooftop movie screenings. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Hate the three tiered bunk beds, and some are very shoddily made (as in the steps break when you climb them). Great location though and the staff are helpful, particularly Scott.
Great hostel. The showers do tend to alternate between scalding and freezing
Total party hostel. Don't stay here if you want to rest or sleep. The noise does not stop until at least 3 or 4am and every night the staff go into all the rooms offering free shots. Staff are not very helpful. Beds are comfortable but showers are either freezing or boiling. Location good. If you want to party hard, great, if not choose elsewhere.
Great hostel. No lockers big enough to put your backpack in but they do have lockable drawers. Fantastic staff, the comfiest beds I've ever found in a hostel and a good location not too far from the old town and anywhere else you'd want to go. Also had large kitchen which is quite useful.
Staff seemed flustered and confused a lot. No allocated beds. Uncomfortable beds and no ladder for the upper bunks. Bathroom was mouldy and I rarely had hot water. Wifi does not work in rooms.
