Not much of an atmosphere. Wifi too slow. Had an old man stay in our dorm, snored and mumbled all night...was really annoying! Didn't realise there was no age limit in hostels. Little bit creepy. Bathroom and rooms were clean though but you ran out of cups at breakfast so had no tea. Service was slow as only one staff. Should supply a basic kitchen to encourage longer stays.

Great hostel! It's not a party hostel - you can just walk to the main Cairns strip for that which is only 5 minutes away. It's a place to come home to after a crazy night out but at the same time, you are expected to be quiet after 10pm so you can sleep. Great for tours at 6am in the morning. No screaming or loud thumping music like other hostels into the night! Super friendly helpful staff, clean working facilities, hammocks, towels and fridge and a decent night's sleep! Really chilled!

thank you very much for a pleasant stay.I had a good night's sleep, excellent Location for a beach walk towards Noosa, everything worked and fairly clean and excellent value. room could do with a few hooks for jackets/towels etc. might be good to mention that it's a no frills style apartment so byo. I had no problem but I can see how others might complain dvd to high expectations of area. thanks and good luck!

Had a lovely stay here, the manager Andy esp made us welcome. We had a 2 bed dorm, small but tidy with fan, desk, chair & lockers (door has a lock too. Bathrooms come with separated shower & toilet. Roof terrace has a BBQ & free washing machines. Kitchen is tidy & great place to meet other guests. There's a TV lounge if bored & free Wifi but we were out most of the time. Small & quiet dorm which is good but building works next door which can't be helped, though would still come again!

Ideal for travellers wanting a cheap, safe, clean, secure and quiet place to stay. This place is more like a student hall where it is like a shared apartment with bathrooms and kitchen and you get your own key. Therefore no curfew and you can pop back easily due to its excellent location. Got plenty of rest easy as it's off the main busy La Rambla's on a quiet road. Only thing I didn't like was the noisey buidling site opposite (they start drilling around 7-8am so no sleeping in!).
