Staff is competent but not exactly "warm". Lobby feels official like a hotel. No room number on our door was a bit confusing. Bed labels were hard to read as well. Rooms are efficiently cramped (expected for the low price) showers were delightfully spacious and the individual safes are a really nice addition. Our bathroom did not have hand soap (expected) or a floor towel/bath mat (not exactly expected, but the floors are very water-prone and a towel is needed. The bed and towel were clean!

Only stayed one night. Was very nice and clean. fairly noisy early on from echoing hallways but we were in room 1 so we also had the most traffic.

Hardest bed I've ever slept on. Literally a board with a thin foam mattress. Not suitable for a couple. Wet spot on the floor when we moved in that never dried up. No screens on windows to protect from midges. my friends fared a bit better in a dorm room. Not enough bathrooms either and it was horrible sharing a wall with the only one on the second floor all night every night.

Very nice place to stay. A little hard to figure out how to get to by car, but close to city center. Proprietor seemed to know a lot and was very helpful for the most part.

Great place. Great location. Fun bar downstairs. Knowledgeable staff. Everything a hostel should be.

More like an old overpriced lodge then any kind of hostel. And nowhere near anything worth visiting unless you're there for skiing in the winter. Staff was nice but not very knowledgeable and a little slow.
