Nomad Cave Hostel

Goreme, Turkey
100%

A 100% rating doesn't do this hostel justice. It deserves 1000%. This is by far the best hostel I've stayed in. The owners and staff are beyond nice. They don't try to sell you tours and go out of their way to help you and make your stay enjoyable. They are the nicest people ever. The beds are so comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. This place is a must stay if you are in Goreme. Thank you for everything!

This hostel was amazing. Upon arrival they upgraded our room to a suit for free. They also made a mistake when we paid and didn't take into account our deposit paid and when we talked to them about it they provided amazing service and gave us our money back. Room was clean and had a nice balcony. Amazing location. Would recommend to anyone. Awesome hostel owner!

This hostel is ok. The location is not bad - a bit of a walk from the train station and fr the downtown area. The hostel itself was so ok. The rate was cheap however the rest of what you got for paying a low price was cheap as well. They had a kitchen but made you pay 1 euro to use it - a girl had her own cereal and the hostel tried to charge her for using a bowl. Never heard of that before. The staff were nice but didn't seem to know enough about the city to help. Don't think I would stay again

This hostel was quite good. They had lots of common places to hang out which was nice. Our room was in the basement and we had a fan so while it was super hot in tirana the room was nice and cool. The tour was a nice way to meet people - more of a social gathering than a tour. The staff were helpful however we left a 10 euro key deposit and the guy who checked us in didn't write that down so they only gave us 5 back which was annoying. Other than that a good stay

This hostel was really nice. The staff were super helpful and the dinner for 5 euro a night was huge and very very good. They had a big tour which we didn't go on so can't comment on that. The room was really nice, bed was super comfy and it had AC. Big kitchen to cook in too and right by a mini market. Only complaint was that there was 1 toilet with a door and then another space had two showers and a toilet all in one. But it was clean.

This hostel was nice and the room had AC and the guy that owned the place was so friendly. There was also a kitchen to cook in. However because of the location right outside the old own and the facilities it was so expensive. Dubrovnik is very expensive. So while the hostel is nice the city is just too expensive. Go to Bosnia or the Albanian Riviera instead. Croatia is over rated. But the hostel was nice

This hostel was pretty good and I would stay here again. They had plenty of showers and washrooms, three different common areas and a big kitchen. The rooms were also really nice and spacious. They had some strange kitchen rules. When cooking dinner a staff member came in and said if we weren't cooking dinner for the entire hostel we needed to close the door to the kitchen (which felt awkward). we were scolded for taking free coffee from the wrong pot... This was all only from one staff member.

This hostel is basically for 18 year olds who only want to drink which is fine unless you're looking for other things to do. I was kind of disappointed in their nightly events - there are SO many cool bars in budapest and they tend to predominantly hang out at the sister hostel bar. We had a private room which was in it's own apartment with a kitchen, laundry, washroom and balcony along with two other private rooms. The room was amazing and we did our own thing at night so enjoyed our stay.

The guys that ran the hostel were really nice and overly helpful. They were very welcoming and were very social. The room we had was really nice and they had a fully functioning kitchen. The only potential issue is that there are only two bathrooms (with showers). We were there in low season so the hostel was only 1/4 full and thus this wasn't an issue for us. The staff here were absolutely amazing and made you feel right at home. We were greeted at the door by name! The breakfast was really good too. The only thing is the walking directions to the hostel are not at all clear - it seems as though it should be right off the main road however you have to go down a back alley to get there. Other than this, amazing place to stay and would definitely return in the future!

When we arrived the lady that greeted us was very rude and not at all welcoming. Once she realized we had a reservation she was slightly nicer. The pool was very nice and the room was nice however we had two single beds in the room and my bed had bed bugs! I originally thought they were mosquito bites but after my husband had no bites and was in a different bed we knew it was bed bugs. Overall the place was nice but the staff were nothing special. Would probably stay somewhere else next time.

this is probably one of the best hostels I har ever stayed at. The staff went out of their way to make you feel like you were at home. We had hot showers and our passports were locked in a safe the entire time we were there. one of the best hostel experiences I have ever had!
