I still love this hostel. The bunks are comfy and curtained with individual lamps. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are friendly and fun. The bathroom facilities are a bit odd - two tiny unisex shower stalls and the hand-washing / teeth-cleaning sinks aren't private (door open to corridor). I love that they provide boiled eggs and fruit for breakfast but sadly on this occasion the packaged pastry was stale, the lone remaining piece of fruit was bruised and the egg was overcooked.

Thank you for choosing Destinations Hostels during your visit to London, we are happy you mostly enjoyed your stay with us, our breakfast is comparable with or better than most hostels, our croissants are individually prepacked but need to be heated in toaster, we have to make sure our eggs are hard boiled for food health reasons and our fruit comes in from a local supplier, some might be bruised and we do try to weed it out before serving, thank you for your comments.

Overall excellent, efficient and well thought out facilities serving a busy large hostel. Water is hot, rooms are clean and everything runs smoothly. Front desk staff still manage to be lovely despite how busy it is. The only niggle would be that breakfast at St Christopher's Inn is not worth attending. I understand the Inn using cheap bulk products but it also ends too early (9am) and has no option to upgrade e.g. to a decent coffee or a boiled egg

I was pleasantly surprised to find tea and coffee making facilities and a computer in the shared bunkroom. And OK, you're still sleeping in a room with 5 other people, but a decent mattress, curtain across my bunk and personal light gave a sense of comfort and almost privacy. Appreciated the fan on such a hot night as well. Boiled eggs and fruit available for breakfast alongside the usual cereals and pastry was also appreciated.

Absolutely charming, very very basic room, the location is off the main tourist thoroughfare and the cafe opposite is peopled with locals (as well as tourists). A wonderful and very french experience. Be prepared to walk up many stairs and share the WC on your floor.

Breakfast is AMAZING! Otherwise a clean and straight forward hostel with little character but good beds, spacious dorms and hot showers. Note: wifi is not included in the price but breakfast is.

the character of fellow travellers is really what makes it because there is limited privacy and no onsite staff. Great time if you ain't fussy and willing to be good to others (ie do your dishes). Cheap, cosy and great location.
