Mavi Guesthouse

Istanbul, Turkey

We moved into the 3-bed ensuite room, and that was horrible. Mold everywhere, no real window and the pipes from the toilets and showers ran through the room, so you always heard and smelled everything. However, Ali was very helpful and offered us another room on the second day and that was just beautiful: small, light, fresh air and cozy. Ali is very helpful in any regard. If you have a light sleep - you hear everything in all the rooms because they surround the stairs.

HI - Boston Hostel

Great place to be! Very new and trendy hostel, definitely has character. You have to share a bathroom with other rooms, but as it's a single bathroom you still have more privacy than in most hostels (I never had to queue). Definitely the best hostel I've stayed at in the US! The breakfast is also more than "basic" compared to other hostels. In total, very recommendable!

Stay Inn NYC

Great place to be! It feels more like a flat share than a hostel. The girl's flat is comfy (!) and quiet, so even with a jetlag it's not bad to share the place. However, hostels in NY are overpriced, and this is no exception.

Evgenija Apartment

Really nice appartment in the center of Piran! As it's not a hostel, you won't meet fellow travellers. The appartment is small but has everything you need, especially for cooking, even 3 different types of coffee makers were there. NOTE: don't try to get anywhere by public transport (apart from portoroz), bus connections are poor. Ferry connections are good. Apart from that Piran & the appartment are great!

Best Holidays Venice

Really in the center! With the description on the site, it's not too hard to find. Just look for a tiny TINY road ;-) the bathrooms are mouldy, the rooms are really okay, it's a good hostel if you just want to stay in venice for a day or two!

Nice hostel, would recommend it! You need to take the S-Bahn to get basically anywhere (some caf├ęs and bars are around), but that's everywhere in Berlin, I think.

Really nice hostel! The (double) room was bigger than my first flat, the bathroom really nice. Hard to meet other backpackers, a bit noisy (big street), but good windows. Ideal for groups or couples!
