Hostel is located right at the foot of Massada mountain, bus stop in front of the hostel. Travellers hike up at 05.00 am for about 45 min. to see the sunrise from Massada fortress. Breakfast is until 09.30 am so you have enough time after the descent. Big and clean rooms. Older receptionst was friendly but I am sure that a smile would be appreciated by the guests too. Was not allowed to leave luggage there during day in order to go the beach. Only after begging was it allowed. Pls. change that.

Great Location, light railway stop "Davidka" just in front of the house. Market and restaurants/shops close and to the old town it's about a 20 Minute walk. They organize excellent tours to the Death Sea, Hebron or a walk through a jewish neighbourhood for instance. Very good place to meet other travellers and the breakfast buffet was filling. Appreciated also the big lockers below the beds and the nice roommates I had during my stay.

Bethlehem Youth Hostel

Located near the milk grotto just a five min. walk away from the main square and most attractions. There were hardly any guests when I arrived and so I got a 10 bed dorm (just above an active prison!) for myself. It was very interesting to talk to the receptionist (good English) and his friends about differences in our countries and lifes and youthhostels. The hostel has also a kitchen for self Catering and a roof terrace. Wish you all the best for the future guys.

Aviv Hostel

Good value for money. Situated at the edge of town but not even a 15 min. walk away from the bus station and right next to shops, Falafel stalls and the lake. They offer breakfast at a nearby place. Convenient is that you can hire mountain bikes to ride along the lake (mainly along the main road though). Hostel does not have a common room apart from entrance area. Receptionist are helpful but don't make the friendliest impression.

Fauzi Azar Inn

When I arrived by bus from Tel Aviv not so easy to find, but when you get to the bewildering alleys of the souk (market) there are hostel signs to show you the way. Great building, Looks like a arabic palace and I slept in a room with painted ceiling that is about 7 meters high. Lovely kitchen with free tea and cake. Receptionists changed a lot and so it depended a bit on who was working in order to get Information about places to go. Unique hostel and a place to calm down from busy Nazareth.

Well located next to shops/take aways and just 2 min. from the beach. Good placeto meet other travellers. Clean bathrooms/showers. Little breakfast (tea/coffee, toast, boiled egg, tomatoes/zucchettis) offered. Lockers for your valuables near reception (bring your own padlock). Helpful and travel experienced receptionists. Really good value for Tel Aviv, but you have to know that you are staying in a busy area that can be rather loud at night. Top bunks tend to tipp towards you when climbing up.

Port Inn

Hostel is only a 5 min. walk away from railway station and close to grocery store and ATM. Receptionists all very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean. Lovely garden to relax. There was a bit of noise at night because its location close to the port. An improvement would be to have lockers in the dorm rooms. Did not take breakfast but it looked good though.
