We really enjoyed this hostel. I wish we were there longer than just the one night.
Nice place very close to Himeji Castle. The building itself is very old, and I liked that. It gave the feeling of staying in an old Japanese house.
We enjoyed bakpak gion! Very nice location right next to Keihan line and not too far from Kyoto station. Gion is a great area with lots to see in terms of temples and shrines.
The Rose & Crown Hostel is above the Rose & Crown Bar. It is a little confusing at first because you walk into a bar with all your luggage expecting a hostel. However after you get checked in, you realize that it is quite a nice set-up. Rooms are great, each bunk with it's own power outlet and curtain (which is an excellent idea!). Nice breakfast is included and the owner (and cute German Shepard) are friendly. Will stay here again if ever in London.
Euro Hostel Glasgow is not your typical hostel. It is very large and big business-minded. Therefore, it feels more like a hotel than hostel. A cheap hotel for party-goers, it seems. Although the staff was extremely friendly, the hostel is in a sort of eerie part of town. It was definitely not the right fit for our group but for a group expecting to be partying all night long, I am sure it is perfect.
You can't get any better than Inverness Student Hostel. Staff is awesome, facilities are clean, and location is great. Inverness is a laid-back city and this hostel fits right in. Felt more like home than a hostel.
Can't beat the location of Castle Rock Hostel. Just above the Hay market and under the shadow of Edinburgh Castle. Staff are helpful and facilities are clean.
