Day 'n' night, Nis, Serbia
8.6
22nd Mar 2016

I only stayed one night and it was off season so only a few other, longer term guests staying. The facilities and beds were very comfortable and staff helpful!! Great common rooms for meeting others. It's a little further out but nis isn't a very big place so easy to walk around.

Lovely place to stay and in a great location. Only 15 beds so it easy to meet other travellers. There was only a few of us there as its low season but it was a really homely place. Staff were all lovely and helpful!

A Wild Elephants Hostel, Bratislava, Slovakia

14th Mar 2016

I had an amazing time at wild elephants. It's run by travellers who do a great job making people feel welcome and at home. This is the perfect place to share stories & hang out. There are activities every night to help meet people and the hostel is in the heart of the old town which is great for exploring! Thanks guys!!

Great hostel and lots of fun. The shared (free) dinners are a good way to meet people!

Cinnamon Hostel, Wroclaw, Poland
6.9
7th Mar 2016

Overall cinnamon is a good general hostel in a good location. Unfortunately while I was there my backpack was slashed and someone stole my iPad, some credit cards. While the place seems pretty secure (with buzzer to get in and out) there were no lockers in rooms etc - which is a relatively simple fix for the place. The receptionist, katerina, who was there after I discovered this, was great in helping with the police. Don't think it was a backpacker but a local who was kicked out of home!

I only stayed on night, so didn't use the kitchen. The lounge area seemed ok, but would benefit from the hostel arranging some activities/happy hour or something. It is a very large hostel so you can get lost in the mix. Dorms and Bathrooms are ok, but only cleaned once a day so gets a bit gross.

Enjoyed the stay here, it's a small hostel which means you do see familiar faces. The lounge/kitchen area is a bit small so hard to chat but there are spaces set up within each room for this also. Only 2 bathrooms for all guests (1 female, 1 male).

This is a good, family friendly yhi! The beds are comfortable and it is very clean. The atmosphere is lacking but that is because there isn't really an area to hang out or a shared kitchen. Wifi is only available in the reception. However, there aren't that many options in augsberg and if I was to come again this would be my pick for the city. Breakfast was great, lots of selection inc museli

Nice hostel with everything you need. The seating in the kitchen/common area can make it a little hard to chat but otherwise is a nice space. The dorm on the first floor was awesome, but the one on the fourth is a little like they were trying to jam more beds in for money's sake. Good location, friendly staff.

Good, clean hostel and the rooms and beds are very comfortable! The kitchen only has one electric stove top so it's a waiting game. Wifi in rooms is great, but not so in the common areas. Great location and staff!

This is a hostel/hotel and does not have a common area except for the breakfast kitchen, not sure if guests are allowed to use the kitchen. Staff were helpful but only when requesting information. The location is great, right near the museums. Safes in the rooms were not working.

This was is a suitable place to stay. Beds and dorms comfortable, well laidout and secure. Staff were good, some friendlier than others. Atmosphere was lacking a bit as this is a big chain hostel. Internet/wifi was horrible and not working, although staff advise it was to be fixed soon.

The staff at this hostel were really friendly and helpful, however there was very little common space and the shared kitchen did not seem to be working. The bunk beds in the shared dorm were very noisy as was the place in general as there is a restaurant/bar downstairs which never seems to stop. For the cost of accommodation in Rome this is not a bad place, although take note of the party/nosey atmosphere.

I went at a really quiet time (only me & 1 other), this suited me as I was looking for a place to chill & rest, so had the place to myself. Receptionist left us to our own devices after meeting me for check in & providing vital info. However, was nearby & available if needed. Wifi isn't great & only works in the kitchen which is annoying but manageable. I can imagin in high season this would be a nice place to stay.

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in and I stayed here twice. The place was great and the staff are really friendly and helpfully. The beds and dorms are very comfortable. The hostel does not have an outside area and the common area is with the reception and kitchen, however it was a good place to meet people, especially with their nightly dinners. Highly recommend.

Suitable place to stay, but lacked atmosphere. There are also no directions on how to get their from train or bus station so it was a long walk. There is a bus from the bus station (#5 or 27 I think) which will get you there, otherwise a 30min walk . Staff was friendly and helpful but common areas are lacking and wifi and hot water had some problems but ok in common areas. Beds and rooms are great/comfortable.

Overall ok stay, the place is decorated heavily in 'Moroccan style'. You need to pay more for the safety security box which was annoying. Breakfast was good in terms of variety, as we've now stayed in other Moroccan hotels where breakfast is simply bread. Location is ok, about 30 min walking from the mosque. Avenue Mohammad 5th is close and takes you right where you need to. Eat at the local cheap chicken/kebab places off the avenue.
