Free dinner every night and 5 dollar pints. Pretty good. Nice balcony upstairs and loads of space to hang around and meet people.
Friendly staff. In between the town and start of the walks, although it makes no difference - the village is so small everything is a 5 minute walk anyway. Not much character to the place, just plain walls, feels like a hospital waiting room. But it's good.
A sanitary, banal look about the place. White-washed walls everywhere. Not the most helpful staff in the world. But, everything there is expensive, in Patagonia. See Perito Moreno, then get up to El Chalten! It's much better. The mountain walks are unbelievable. And the National Park is free in Chalten (100 pesos for most nationalities in El Calafate).
I think it's the cheapest place around there, so in that respect its worth it. Constant, monotonous, chirpy, vile pop songs boom from the speakers at all hours. Forget sitting down and reading a book or relaxing after a day walking around the Falls. The incessant drone of the upbeat pop singers will keep you awake.
Fantastic place. Very homely, Moroccan atmosphere, nice staff, good breakfast. And a brilliant view from the terrace. Essaouira is an amazing place, it should be visited by everyone!!
Nice bloke who runs it, but it´s a bit out of town, not too much of a problem but being in the centre would have been nice.
Nice place. Got everything you need. A little bit of a walk from the center, but worth it.
Nice place, good fun, always something going on, a bit of a walk into the city but better than paying the price of staying closer. Worth a visit, and Nice is fantastic!
The reception shuts at 7pm, it is a little walk to the old town, about 5 or 10 minutes, and showers are few and far between. But overall not bad, I would stay there again as it is the cheapest in Nice, and we could smoke in our room which is always a bonus!
Quite good facilities (free computers, bar, breakfast, a guitar...), but it is expensive. Really good location, close to everything. Staff are a bit miserable.
It's hard to meet people here; more like a hotel, but it's quite a nice change after sharing a room with 10 other people for so long in other hostels. The staff is helpful. Anyway the city is absolutely wondeful, a must see!
Very nice staff and nice terrace outside. It's a good hostel in a great city. Going up and down those stairs to the room and then the toilets keeps the old heart pumping I guess.
Very creaky beds, every time someone moved it felt like an earthquake, but overall not too bad. I wouldn't stay there long and probably not again.
Very nice hostel. Easy to meet people. Such an amazing city, the hostel doesn't even matter, you never need to be inside it (apart from the unbearable heat in the afternoon) as it is so uncontrollably endearing to meerly walk the beautifully quaint streets with a burning head looking up at the tiny balconies of the lives of the tiny old people who seem to inhabit the city. What a place!!

It's so big that it's hard to meet anyone. There were a lot of older people there as well. Very good location though.
A very nice place close to the center. Helpful staff. Clean. Nice little common area. Everything suddenly shuts at midnight though so you have to go out or go to bed. But apart from that it suffices for a few nights.
Very nice place. Right in the center of town.
No character at all, just plain white walls, like a hospice. Lifeless. There isn't much going on and it's hard to chat to other guests. But good location, fine for a quick night or two as long as you don't spend much time in the hostel.
Quite far out of town but not bad, can smoke inside, quite fun staff.
A nice place in the center of the Medina, a beautiful building and helpful staff. Worth it for the money.
A good hostel with a bar attached to it which is quite expensive but thats normal for Istanbul (5 Lira a beer - 2.50 Euros). Not great for meeting people but central and clean.
Very friendly staff, good atmosphere, good fun, easy to meet people outside on the sofas, especially if it is warm i suppose. A little walk up the hill but certainly worth it, very nice people.
Very nice place with a brilliant common room and a guitar to play. Would certainly recommend.
A very nice hostel with free coffee all the time and everything is very clean. The common room is hard to meet people in, but the hostel is very close to the center and there are no other hostels in Thessaloniki anyway, so there's little choice in the matter.
The hostel is right in the center of town but it is dirty and not a lot of fun. If staying for just one night it is fine but I would not recommend it.
A perfect hostel. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The location is great. The oriental lounge outside is the most relaxing place I have ever sat to have a beer and a cigarette. Endless episodes of The Simpsons, big kitchen, free breakfast with good coffee. This is everything a hostel should be in the glorious capital city of a wonderful country!! 100% recommended!
A very comfortable, relaxing place with nice sofas and beds. Quite a walk from the center but a welcoming place with a nice atmosphere. Easy to meet people in the common room. All in all a very good hostel with helpful staff, the only problem is that they don't give you a key and the receptionist kept falling asleep when I was there so she didn't open the door late at night.
If you are traveling on your own it is not easy to meet people at this hostel. The owner speaks no English and the front door is always left open. It is very close to the bus and train station though, which has its advantages.
This is everything a hostel should be! It has constant music playing, endless videos to watch, a small kitchen but good for meeting people, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend!
Boring, strict, moody staff: not much going on in the hostel. A fine place for a night but only if you have someone with you, because on your own it is impossible to meet people there!
Nice place close to the centre, near all the bars and things. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Definately would recommend it.
Quite far away from the centre and not much going on, not great for the price, but it´s clean and safe.
Nice place right in the centre, not much going on there so no good if you´re on your own, but you can smoke and drink in the rooms, and it is so central and not bad price.
It's shut between 12 and 5pm which can be a problem, but the man who runs it is really nice and it is very central. Definately worth a visit.
Very central, clean and cheap. Everything a hostel needs to be.
Lovely hostel right in the centre of a lovely city.
Really clean and nice. 10 mintue walk from the centre or 2 mins on the U bahn. Cheap bar downstairs and really friendly staff, and you're allowed drink and eat your own stuff in the bar.Brilliant hostel.
There´s no communal area and no cutlery and no sink or anything in the kitchen and the toilets are too small to use and the staff are miserable but Salamanca is brilliant and it´s the only cheap hostel there so... worth spending less on a bit of a poor hostel to stay in Salamanca!
Really good atmosphere and really friendly. A bit of a walk away from the centre but amazing view and great place to chill.
Closing all the comunal areas at 11.30 can be a bit early but generally really nice, good common room and big terrace, good kitchen. I´d definatly reccomend it.
It´s good, really central, right in the middle of everything and really nice staff but the pub crawl was never really worth it. Good securty and i only saw 1 cockroach in the room, but overall really nice and Sevilla is brilliant.
