This hostel is well-located and cheap, however these are it's only redeeming features. Facilities are poor/non-existent (hot water is very hit-and-miss, there is no privacy whatsoever in the shower room and half the lightbulbs don't work). The staff are not particularly welcoming. Apart from a code to get into the building there is no security (no locks to the dorm, no lockers). It's cheap but unless you really can't spare an extra few euro, stay elsewhere!

This hostel is in a good location, the beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious and showers are hot/strong. It's quite expensive considering that there's not many extras (no free wifi/breakfast etc) and there's not much of an atmosphere as it's quite big and impersonal, but a decent place to crash. Travel desk is helpful & I liked that there were plugs inside the security lockers.

Decent hostel, clean and comfortable beds, staff are nice, good showers and great location. Wifi isn't very reliable and it's annoying that there's only one electrical socket in the rooms. I'd understand that they might not be able to change it but maybe I could suggest they put in an adapter so more than one person can use it? Also the sound of the bells is lovely

Good that hairdryers and towels are provided, and nice to be able to get a good nights sleep while being able to walk 2 minutes to the livlier hostel if you want. The rooms are spacious but have a dark and dreary feel, also they are right on the main road so there is a lot of street noise. Showers are a bit hit and miss!

Hi! Thank You for taking the time to leave us a review, we appreciate all feedback as it can only help us to improve! We are sorry to hear you found it to be a bit noisy at times, unfortunately given our location it can occasionally be loud at night, to assist with this we do offer free ear plugs from our 24hr reception at The Village. It is great to hear however that you enjoyed and made use of all our facilities and location, as we only hope all guests do! Thanks again, Hope to see you next time in London! This is an adequate hostel, comfortable beds, enough space in the rooms, hot strong showers, good location and pretty quiet for central London. In terms of friendly atmosphere or character it's completely non-existent but if you just need to crash for a night it's perfect.

Excellent location, comfy beds, okay breakfast and good showers. Nice and sociable but the atmosphere is quite impersonal. The staff aren't unfriendly but definitely put themselves before the guests, it would have been nice if they showed you around as I only discovered the computers and kitchen on the third day!

This is a really sweet hostel in an amazing location, it has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are friendly. It is lacking a bit in facilities (dorms/beds were generally quite shabby and in need of some TLC, could've been cleaner) and there isn't an indoor common area for when it's raining, but I'd probably still come back despite all that!

This hostel has most of what you need; decent dorms with clean bathrooms and comfy beds, wifi, info about Paraty, breakfast (though it's nothing amazing), good price and a fun atmosphere. Because it's a chain hostel it's predictably lacking a bit in character and having one key per dorm can be a bit annoying, but other than that it's fine. Also, the staff (though friendly) can take about two days to reply to emails so contact ahead of time!

I'd recommend staying elsewhere, the location is good, satisfactory breakfast and the roof terrace is nice. Though the showers are powerful, don't expect ANY privacy while showering/toilet as the cubicle doors are pretty much transparent! Some of the staff are okay but most aren't particularly friendly (and didn't actually seem to know that much about Rio...) and there's not much of an atmosphere. Okay for a quick 1-night stop but stay elsewhere for a better experience

If you stay at this hostel you'll probably still have loads of fun because you'll meet cool people and the parties are good, but it's no thanks to the hostel itself. The staff are not very friendly at all, it's not too clean and it's very impersonal. They messed up my reservation (obviously mistakes happen, I was more annoyed at the lack of apology/help) and there's only one PC for the whole hostel. Good points are location and comfy beds

This is a decent hostel, most of the facilities you could want are there and the staff are friendly enough. It's cheap, has comfy beds, nice breakfast, and decent shower (hot water is a bit hit & miss but generally fine), good location. It is a bit large and impersonal though and there isn't that much of an atmosphere. The 16-bed dorm is very cramped so if you can spare the extra few soles, upgrade to an 8 or 6-bed.

This is an okay hostel. Pros: very well located, sociable, comfortable beds, breakfast served until 11, hot/strong showers. Cons: Security isn't very good (anyone can walk in and no locks to the dorms), not much privacy when showering, staff aren't too friendly, and lastly, VERY overpriced. The staff at the tour agency are very nice and helpful though. All in all, there are lots of places to stay in Cusco so I would probably choose somewhere else.

Great location, great atmosphere. Facilities are also very good, the only thing it's missing is a kitchen. The pool garden catches the sun, making it so relaxing. Showers are also good. Only suggestion: paint the dorm a brighter colour! The walls are so dark and there are no windows so the room always seems very dark.

This is an ok hostel, the location is fine and the dorm is spacious. The staff aren't very involved, they're always doing their own thing and there isn't much of an atmosphere at all. No facilities like wifi, kitchen or common room are available and the pool is dirty. The best part about the hostel is the showers; hot AND powerful.

This is a really nice hostel, lovely atmosphere and good facilities. The airport pickup (55 soles) is a bit of a rip off though, it was also late, so just get a standard taxi. Apart from that I would recommend.

This is a decent hostel in a busy (though not particularly safe) area. The showers are nice and the atmosphere is really laidback and sociable, while also being respectful and somewhere you can get some sleep. One of the staff members also kindly negotiated taxi fares for me so I didnt get ripped off. The dorms are quite basic but still perfectly adequate

This is a good hostel (depending on what you're looking for). I had a good time because the people I met were great, it's near enough to the beach and supermarket and has decent facilities. Most of the staff are lovely, but the manager is very money-focused and will try and rip you off in any way possible to make an extra fiver! She charged my friend 10 kuna for the cost of running water to wash out the snorkel mask!! Also if you want to extend your stay she'll up the price significantly.

Just to clear up any confusion, snorkel rental price is10 kuna (1.50 euro) and there is no extra charge for washing it up. Also, we don't up the price for extensions, your extension coincided with a mid July price rise. Safe travels.

A great hostel if you want a party (obviously!) Security is good as the locks are all electrically operated. Not the cleanest by any means but you wouldn't come here if cleanliness was your top priority anyway. The bar is fun, as are the staff, the only thing I would say is that sometimes the atmosphere of the 'party hostel' is a little forced
