The included breakfast ist actually a voucher for one drink and one bagel in the nearby cafe. Wifi is almost unusable on the 5th floor (only my iPad got connection in a certain spot in our room). For a "Shared Bathroom" accommodation there were 2 bathrooms for 4 rooms, that's really enough - I never had to wait in a line. Friendly staff, and a very very good location in Manhattan!

Byron Beach Resort

It's a bit offside the centre of Byron Bay, but it is very good for relaxing and you can get a bike for free for less than 2 hours. If you want more, you have the chance to rent (better) mountain bikes for about AUD 10/day if you book more than 2 days in a row. About every hour drives off a shuttle bus from the resort into town and back.

Absolute lovely place! Nearby the train station and Cairn's great shopping mall. Best staff of my whole trip in Australia! They made very good recommendations about tour bookings and it seems that they did many of the tours by their own.

Laundry is free (bring your own washing powder) but there are not many clothinglines if you have clothes which are not suitable for dryers.

It is in a good location for sight seeing because it isnt far away from every sight - you can rent a bike at the hostel and I think it is the best way for exploring Kyoto because the buses are very slow due to much traffic and while youre waiting for a bus youre almost there with a bike. But: that are some kind of grandma-bikes with a bad gearshift ~ so you wouldnt be very fast with them - but still faster than the bus. e.g.: We took ~45min from Golden Pavilion -> Hostel (may

Despite the hotel is just next to the railways we had a good sleep, but Im a person you cant awake very easy when Im already fallen asleep. And: at night there isnt going any train so you would have just the noise of the street. The staff is very nice and the guy at the reception did a phone call for us because this time we could speak just 3 words Japanese ;) You need just one Minute to the next train station and from there you can ride directly to the main station.

The twin room is some kind of small but thats no problem since we were ther just for sleeping. For breakfast there is an excellent roof with tables and benches and also a kitchen. The underground is just a stone\'s throw away and at the nearby post office you can get money from the cash dispenser with an English menu. If you want to visit Tokyo you wouldnt need a Railway Pass because the fastest way for traveling is the underground - you can get a one day ticket for ~1000Yen
