Fab, friendly place with amazing views! Few minutes walk from town and the train station. The staff are fantastic, very helpful and really make you feel at home. The big kitchen is great if you are on a budget and want to cook your own meals. The manager Robert is brilliant and even made me a little cake and candle when he realised it was my birthday! Would def return!
Best place to stay in Amsterdam! The staff, Annie and Dave, run a relaxed and fun ship. They went out of their way to make sure all guests had the best stay possible! The boat is in a great location - close to central station, 5 mins walk to town and plenty of little shops and cafes around marina area. Don't listen to the reviews moaning about the size of the rooms - I'm over 6ft and found their was more than enough room. In fact, the snuggness adds to the novelty of staying on a boat!

Nice little place. Very clean and cosy and has great views! Staff are fun, friendly and helpful. Walls are quite thin so it can get noisy at times. Tricky to find but in a nice quiet location.
Absolutely massive so lacks the intimacy of smaller places. However, it is super clean and modern and efficient and in a great location!
The cleanest place I have ever been! Superb! The place was a lot bigger than I was expecting and, with no bar, it could get a bit lonely for a single traveler. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the rooms very comfortable. Handy for the metro station and not far to the sights. If you like 1950's music playing through your house for 12hrs a day, then this is the place for you!

When we turned they had double booked us and so were told we could not stay. We were tsken to another hostel across town! Thankfully, the other hostel was much nicer. The 5 minutes spent in Nova House proved it to be dingy, smelly and without character.

On paper, this place has everything you could possibly want from a hostel. However, it doesn't really seem to 'work'. Maybe it's because they are trying to hard to create a 'concept' or perhaps it's because most of the guests are well over 30, creating a hotel environment rather than a fun hostel environment. At the end of the day, it's a super-clean, modern, well-located, well-staffed place.
Clean and quiet and a good shuttle into Venice. It was however very expensive to buy stuff onsite and the nightly entertainment was loud and poor.
A wonderful place! I did not want to leave! Jonathan and Ella who run the place are amazing, fun, kind, helpful and very friendly! We were given free wine, cake and ice cream all day and were treat like family! The place was immaculately clean and a great place to meet people. I would highly highly highly recommend!
Beware. Not all as advertised. The place is massive with 1000s of kids and youths running wild night and day. The dorms were grubby and the beds were full of bugs! The shuttle bus is a joke - 24 seats for the 100s of people wanting to use it and it drops you so far outside of Rome you still need to spend around 40mins on the metro to get anywhere! Would never consider staying again.
Awful place. Dirty, full of kids and miles from Rome. The shuttle bus is a joke!
An extremely clean and comfortable place. More of a hotel than a hostel so not the greatest of fun but an excellent place to get a great sleep after a busy day in Rome. Free internet was handy too.
A decent little place with amazing views and close to the bus stop. Rooms are big and clean and some even come with a balcony. Would recommend.
An odd little place that I didn't quite 'get' but I couldn't really say anything too bad about it. An nice little base from which to explore Sorrento and Sant'Agnello.
A pleasant, friendly little place to rest your head. The staff are very friendly and manage to create a nice 'family' atmoshere inviting guests to join them for dinner and drinks in the kitchen. Would recommend.
Dingy, grimy, old, dusty, dark, lifeless. Pay a few extra $$$ and go somewhere else.
A spanking new and spotlessly clean hostel. Very comfortable beds, free internet, fantastic bar with very cheap beer and great staff who will take you out on the town after last orders. Even though it's quite a big place it still managed to maintain an intimate, friendly atmosphere. The hostel is quite far out of the centre but the metros and trams stop over the road and there are a few nice drinking and eating places nearby. Would definately recommend.
Positives = Close to the station, close to the old town, close to supermarket. However, the staff, although efficient, weren't overly friendly or welcoming, the 'bar' was about as much fun as watching paint dry and the whole building stank of sewage. But, to be fair, this hostel was in keeping with it's surroundings in a town where the biggest landmark is Tesco and everyone goes to sleep by 6pm. My advice - don't go to Bratislava. If you want a stopover town, go to Vienna instead.
Not for the faint hearted but certainly the best hostel I've ever stayed at. The staff welcome you into the 'family'on arrival and within 30 minutes you are in a bar drinking beers with your new best friends! Very confortable beds, free internet, free tea and coffee and very handy for the station. Would highly recommend (unless you are ridiculously shy or unsociable)
A great place to stay in Vienna. Close to the station, very clean, a fantastic lively bar, helpful, efficient staff. I even returned for a 2nd time.
A great location - quick walk from the station, quick walk into the old town. Security was excellent and the place was very clean and modern. Bar was nice but quiet. Would definately recommend.
Great place to stay, especially if you're not an experienced traveler. Exceptionally clean and a great bar. I went back again after my first stay.
