Rooms Stambuk

We only stayed here for one night but it was great value for money and located just behind the old town. Iris is lovely - and despite having to walk 10 mins to our room, offered to carry our bags on her moped! The room we stayed in was several floors up (with no lift!) but Iris's husband was on hand to carry our bags! The room was very bright and colourful with a fully functional kitchen and en suite.

Bokun Guesthouse

We were welcomed to the hostel by Tony who is very friendly and helpful. Our room was very tidy with a lovely en suite and a light up disco shower! It takes about 25 minutes to walk to Dubrovnik old town but the walk is safe and very scenic. The gardens of the hostel were beautiful. The only drawback was that the common room was quite noisy in the mornings - but it just made us get out of bed and enjoy beautiful Dubrovnik!

Hostel Villa Zorana

Hvar, Croatia
100%

This is the most beautiful hostel I have ever stayed in! On arrival we were given a cold drink and a bowl of ice cream :) our room overlooked the sea and one of the beautiful coves in Hvar Town. There is a hostel downstairs - but it doesn't get too noisy. Our room had a balcony from which we enjoyed many a sunset and a few beers! The only bad thing was that we couldn't stay longer! Simply perfect

Despite the hostel being a little further out of town (25 mins walk) it was a lovely room, very clean and the staff are really very helpful. Offering us free bikes and an umbrella when it rained!

Big Apple Hostel & Hotel

Istanbul, Turkey

The location is perfect and the staff couldn't do enough for us! Our room was noisy on the first night due to some very loud Austrians on the roof terrace...but after we spoke to the lovely Enver, he provided us with a quieter, bigger room - in which we slept soundly! The hostel couldn't be better positioned - and is a short walk to excellent restaurants, bars etc - we couldn't believe how close we were to the Blue Mosque. (and didn't even mind being woken up by the call to prayer!) Recommended

This hostel is amazing! Having stayed in the Naples counterpart we expected this to be a huge backpacker hostel, but this is much smaller and very new. The building is easy to find, just by the American Embassy, so heavily guarded! Just a short walk from Termini but out of the hustle bustle. We had a private en suite room and it was simply beautiful. I wouldn't mind moving in! The staff were really helpful and breakfast was included. Highly recommended!!

La Controra is a huge hostel just outside of the historic centre in Naples. The place was easy to find with their excellent directions (and video!) - the staff were so helpful and recommended an amazing, reasonably priced, family restaurant just around the corner with incredible views of Vesuvius from the terrace. The hostel itself is clean, the rooms could do with a lick of paint, but this fits in with the rest of Naples! Breakfast was also included. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location. so close to Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. Monica is a real expert on Rome & showed us several good restaurants and sights to see over our flying visit. The room was clean & cosy with many homely touches -including an espresso machine! We shared a bathroom but didn't see the other residents so it felt like our own apartment. Highly recommended! Thank you Monica :)

Riad Fantasia

Marrakech, Morocco

Riad Fantasia is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. We were picked up from the airport by Kudos (sp?) who works at the Riad- he was so friendly and we all instantly warmed to him. On arriving at the Riad, we walked through the tiny streets of Marrakech and through a small door, once the door opened the Riad takes your breath away. such a beautiful building and a haven away from the streets outside. The roof terrace was an added bonus. We absolutely loved our stay here. thank you :)
