Superb location, friendly staff, shared bathroom with view on Royal Albert Hall next to the room, good breakfast. The room was a bit small though and could have had a bit more storage room. Met nice people there.

Oxford Backpackers Hostel

Oxford, England

The hostel was safe, clean and the staff was funny, although sometimes more concerned with their own entertainment than with guests. The big disadvantage of this hostel is its location. It is very central (not difficult for Oxford) but there is a club near the hostel so expect to hear some bass during the night, and the street. The hostel definitively should invest in some air conditioning, with only one window for a >14 beds room... In conclusion, no problem staying there.

Excellent location, friendly staff, awesome atmosphere. Nice place to meet people. Breakfast was good (toast, cornflakes, coffea, tea, as much as you can eat). Drawback of the bouyant location: there's quite some noise from outside, almost all the time, so just don't forget your earplugs! ;)

A bit outside of Perugia, but everything is new an clean. Kitchen in a seperate building. Since not many other travellers have been there, the stay was rather relaxing...

Ostello San Frediano

Lucca, Italy

The place is a palace! Large cool rooms with carpets and sofas. BUT. Rooms were way too small (there was hardly any place to move in a 8m^2 room for 6 persons) and without A/C. Also, not enough baths and in bad condition, usually not very clean. Breakfast was meagre and the coffee really bad.

Ostello Torino

Only some minutes from the center of Turino: a charming hostel with nice staff, (on an italian scale) large breakfast, spacy cool dorms, very very clean facilities. Hostel is overall tidy, I felt very comfortable there. I recommend staying there, if you're in Turino.
