Staff is patient and helpful. The hostel is full of traditional japanese elements, so rejoice in the dim lights, hushed voices, mellow shadows and zen out. The dorm room I had was a 6-tatami room, with hardy timber double decks. Very comfy sleep. And the room is spotless. Toilets are simple, and adequate. The location is perfect, and easily navigable. One of my favourite hostel experience.

this is one of the cheapest, if not THE cheapest, independent hostel in tallinn. they are not part of the alliance of chain hostels which are guilty of price-fixing, hence i respect this hostel for its autonomy. the hostel looks aged, but everything works out fine. we had huge lockers to deposit our valuables. the location's really convenient. character-wise, we have never been fans of senseless drinking/socialising chores, so it's definitely cool in a laidback sense. kitchen is equipped, but expect nothing

am not a fan of these communal bathing areas. it's not a very cheap stay, plus extras have to be paid for lockers and sheets. nothing exceptional about the service from staff members. many rooms have no windows, which means no ventilation.
