Stayokay Rotterdam Cube Hostel

The hostel is really cool within the cubes. Good breakfast buffet. What is missing are lockers in the rooms - there is no place to store valuables and this is something that is very important for me as traveller. Other than that all was great.

Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark

Amsterdam, Netherlands

A highly recommendable place right by the Hard Rock Cafe, 5 minutes walk from the city centre. Breakfast was great and included, the staff very helpful and friendly. The connection to the Vondelpark is awesome, everything is close for going out for dinner or some drinks. Big lockers, toilet and shower in the room is an added plus. Whomever is travelling to beautiful Amsterdam - go to this place!!!

MEININGER Brussels City Center

The staff was great - they were very helpful when I had an issue with drunk and noisy room mates. The breakfast is very nice however would be good if it would be included in the price. The place was full with school groups which made it very busy and noisy - I as a single vacation traveller prefer a more quiet place where there is a good chance to communicate with other travellers therefore the Meiningers for me are not that appealing as they are too big.

This is a good place to meet people and to get a cheap stay. I stayed in the 40 bed dorm and there are not enough showers and toilets for that many people. Besides, after only half the people used these facilities they are seriously gross.

Ciao Bella Milan

The reception girls were very friendly and helpful. The mattresses are worn out and the bunk beds not stable, therefore uncomfortable to sleep in. The common areas are nice, there is a kitchen available, a computer, free wireless everywhere. Bring your map as there is a EUR 2.50 charge for one.

Residenza Santa Croce

Venice, Italy

My mixed dorm room was 15 minutes walking distance away from the reception, right in the center of town. All basic things are available what a traveller needs - a bed, bathroom (cleaned daily), a fridge and a kettle. A mini-conti breakfast is in the room as well. For someone who is only looking for a sleeping place this is a good one. The lady at the reception was very nice and gave a lot of infos when handing out the Venice city map.

The Yoho is a very nice, apparently rather new place in the city center. The reception and breakfast staff are very friendly and the room I stayed in was tasteful and comfortable. The breakfast for an extra EUR 3,50 was great, everything necessary was on the buffet. I clearly would recommend that hostel to anyone visiting Salzburg.
