Our reservation from hostelworld didn't reach the hotel, but they gave us a room for the defined price without much problems. NO BREAKFAST! Very close to the beach and some shops and restaurants. Clean but the athmosphere in the room is a little cold and sterile (tiled floor, no carpets, white walls) . Hotel has an own parking lot, but they might charge you 10$ for it per day (didn't charge us, but other people).
Very cheap, but you get what you pay for: Wifi doesn't reach the room, ants coming out of the power outlets,we had to capture a roach and flush it down the toilet. The door looks very weak and you can see gaps where the light shines through, so not very good protection from bugs. Very loud AC with low effectiveness. Very close to the outlet mall and other locations in Orlando.
Very nice location, just a few minutes walk to the Potomac river. Very good and affordable restaurants in the area. Parking is a problem, but if you don't mind spending some money for a safe parking spot, there is a parking garage just across of the street. Parking is free on weekends on the street. You can get to the National Mall from there by foot and start at Lincoln Memorial. We finished our tour at Union Station and took the circle line bus back home for 1$!!
