Old furniture but very clean, probably the best hostel kitchen I've ever seen. Loceted in the center of Queenstown. The reception staff can book all kinds of activities for you at a discount rate.

Our room was nice, but the kitchen was just gross.

YHA National Park Backpackers & Climbing Wall

Tongariro National Park, New Zealand

The door to our room couldn't be locked from the outside, so we left our valuables in the car. Not ideal! Apart from that, it's a good hostel. They organise trips to do the Tongariro Crossing, which is very convenient (you can book the evening before and then the bus leaves at 7 am in front of the hostel). The climbing wall is cool, too.

This is a good place to stay for couples. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The location is good, too - close to termini station, but in a quiet street. We were happy with it and would definitely book it again!

Nice chalet, very clean, and the staff was very friendly. Our room had a connecting door to the neighbouring room that couldn't be locked. Eating hours were a bit strict (breakfast until 9 am, dinner at 6:30pm), but I guess that's ok if you're planning to go siikng all day anyway.

Casa Rural Lanzarote

At first, I was sceptical about staying in the center of the island, but actually Tao is a nice village: it's quiet and very different from the big resorts. If you rent a car, Tao is a good base to explore Lanzarote because it's really close to any place on the island. The casa rural is beautiful (check out their website for pictures) and quiet. We were happy with our room (nice and clean), and Stef and Marta were very friendly and helpful.

This is a good place to stay if you are looking for budget accomodation. We had the double ensuite room, which was quiet and spacious. the location is excellent, it is just a short walk away from the beach and the city centre. For some mysterious reason, the kitchen has to be locked during the night, but the staff was very friendly.

A rather small hostel in a downtown apartment building. Our room was spacious and very clean. There also is a common room with internet and a kitchen. Judit was very friendly and helpful. I can definitely recommend this hostel!
