Cologne downtown hostel

I had a great time at this hostel, because the other guests on my room were all awesome! The main problem was the Wifi connection inside the room, which was incredible slow. On the lobby was quite good, though. Also I believe noone cleansed the room one day, so we run out of toilet paper, the bin was completely full and the bathroom was always wet. The location is perfect and the staff is very friendly, helpful and energetic. =)

The character of this hostel is amazing! In terms of location, it is quite close to the interesting Haus of Geschichte, but you'll need the tram to go to the center, even Bonn being relatively small. I also missed plugs inside the Bus to charge my phone.. there are plugs inside the lockers, but there are located outside the Bus.

Five Elements Hostel Frankfurt

In terms of location, it is quite close to the tourist attractions. Despite being located in the Red Light (as more than once highlighted by them), the biggest issue for me was the noise. The street is quite noisy and even staying at the 4th floor, I had a hard time to fall asleep. Other than that, the staff is friendly and their activities are quite cool (movie night, crêpe night, etc)

Very confortable and clean, incredibly close to the train station, but it is closer to a hotel than to a hostel (which is not necessarily bad, of course)..

A bit far from the center, but you do feel like in the countryside. The staff could give more precise information.

Average hostel in a good location. The atmosphere is not very suitable for meeting people, because no one is willing to seat on the boring common area.

I slept both night in a 6-bed room even paying for a 4-bed room. The first night I stood in an ensuite room with air conditioning. However, for the second night I had to change to a room without a bathroom or air conditioning. They don't even provide you a city map. The hostel is though very clean, the beds were comfortable and I met many nice people. They also have a billard table and hammocks for you to relax and have fun.

Good hostel for meeting people. They organized a dinner one night while I was there, where we got to know other guests. The room was relatively good, but the bathroom was very small and not that clean as it could be. The breakfast was not that good either, although they offered various fruits. Other than this, the hints the staff gave were not that good.

Cosmopolitan Hostel

Standard hostel close to the beach, market and restaurants. It's not the best one I've ever seen, but it's not the worst either. Maybe a little bit expensive for what they offer, but the city is more expensive than others in the Northeast.

Very nice staff and hostel! It is very clean, close to everything and has an amazing atmosphere to chill out! The owner is a really nice guy and has good tips for you! Other than this, the hostel has a few partners around the city, so that you can save some money following the good tips they give you! Fully equiped kitchen, large rooms and nice music close to the hammocks.

Florence Youth Hostel

You are kicked out from the hostel at 10am and can not return until 2pm. You can leave your bag in the hostel in the day you check-out just until 2pm, what is not very helpful. It is a good place to stay if you are looking for a cheap hotel (I had one computer and one television in my room), but it is a horrible place to met people and have fun with them.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Dear guests the customer who we talking about made a reservation for one bed in the mix dormitory for 4 with a shared bathroom for 14.85€. After arrival he got a room for 2 people, with a private bathroom and with a computer for free. Everythin' what he wrote you can find on our "microsite" (is not a party hostel and that we have a lock out), so if he didn't like the hostel description he could not do the booking. On our website is written, that if you are looking for a party hostel is not a place for you but if you are looking an inexpensive hostel, clean, safe and that no one disturb you during the night you choose a right place. Our hostel is based on the concept of a inexpensive but have all the comforts of a budget hotel. We ask you not consider this comment despite being an avid traveller. Thank you.

Way Hostel

The hostel is close to the metro, supermarket and center. Very good security (reception opens the front door, card to open the door of the room and individual lockers both in the room and near the reception, if you need), free internet in 3 computers, big and fully equiped kitchen with some tables and another comfortable common room with sofas and TV. The staff is also pretty cool and helpful, they offer daily pubcrawls for 10 euros and it is worth to drink and met other persons. I recommend!
