Comics Guesthouse

Rome, Italy

It's a lovely hostel, with a fun comic theme and lovely facilities. The only down point is that, even do it has a code to enter the hostel, the door is constantly open, so anyone can come and go at will once it pases the main building door. Even so, I'll probably choose it again if I ever go back to Rome.

Great hotel. Perhaps a little far away from downtown Miami, but since the whole idea was to be close to the airport it was a great location. The complimentary shuttle to/from the airport is a nice touch.

Our bedroom door didn't have any locks in it and they only gave us soap on our third day there. They don't tell you which facilities they have, you have to bump into them to find out. While we did have a TV in our room, it only had 3 channels available, none of those were any good, just repeats of some tv series or commercials. As for its location, while not in the center of the city, its real close to one of the many subway stations, so its really easy to move round town.

District Hotel

Washington DC, USA

It's a really nice hotel, located a few blocks away from the White House and the Smithsonian, but they really need to replace the beds ASAP, and a few extratables to have breackfast on would be nice too.

BB Fly and Beach

Nice hostel. Good it you have to depart the next morning.

Astor Victoria

London, England

Our room was the sice of a cupboard, only one person could stand in it at a time. At breackfast time, which was included in the bill, there where not enough cups for everyones tea or coffe. There was only one shower working for 3 floors worth of rooms. As for the rest of the facilities, they had safes, but those where brocken, the same can be said of the coke machine and the only potable water in the building was located in the kitchen. The linens they gave us, while clean, had stains in it.

Do not book this hostel. Lets see: Save for Ainhoa, the staff leaves much to be desired. The hostel in itself is a building that slowly falling to pieces, the shower its a disgrace, it only runs for two minutes, so the water never gets to be really hot. The internet facilities (for wich you have to pay) do not really work. Besides, it is a really noisy place, you can clearly hear what happening in the hostel from your room at any time of the day.

Circus Hostel

Berlin, Germany

This hostel is too much for a simple hostel, but falls short of a proper Hotel. It has no kitchen for the guests to use (hence, not like a hostel), but the bathroom is not in the room (hostel like). The kiosks they have to use internet do not allow you to connect your camera to them, which is highly inconvenient when sendinhg photos home.

Hostel Miles

Prague, Czech Republic

Happy Hostel

Vienna, Austria

It is generally a good hostel, but it is next to impossible to find someone from the Hostel staff to help you after 7pm.-

Archi Rossi Hostel

Florence, Italy

We were very happy with the room they gave us. The instructions they gave us to get to the hostel were very clear and easy to follow. The host el itself is very near the city center AND the train station, wich is very convenient. We loved the free breakfast and dinner.

Rose Guesthouse

Rome, Italy

It´s an amaysing little hostel if you are looking for a quiet and cozy place to stay. It´s only 4 blocks away from the Colloseum, in fact, you can visit all Rome (except the Vatican City) on foot. We loved the fact that we had a PC inside our room for our personal use.
