Great social hostel in Ljubljana! It's a little walk into the town center - but everything is only 5-10 minutes away. The staff is super helpful and friendly and the hostel is clean - although you can hear some of the Metalkova party behind the hostel on a Friday night. There are also plenty of comfortable common spaces and a bar. My only problem was the wifi didn't reach my dorm room but overall this is one of the best hostels I've stayed at for cleanliness and ambience.
Perfect location! Only a few minutes from San Marco Square and if you tend to get lost (as most people probably will in venice) it's easy to get back by following signs for San Marco. I know people complained about the musty smell, but in the dorms on the top floor it wasn't an issue at all. The only downside is there's not much ambience or anywhere to hang out, but the hostel is perfectly located and very clean!
Super quiet hostel since it's kind of out of the way and there aren't really common areas. On the other hand, everything is super clean and the city center is only a few stops away by metro. They have kind of insane policies about not using the facilities after check out - but otherwise the staff is pretty friendly and helpful. Perfect place to stay if you're looking for a clean quiet place to sleep, not so much if you're looking to meet people or party.
Well located hostel, close to tons of restaurants, bars, shopping and basically everything else. Rooms are large, facilities are clean, but there are 2 gigantic dogs that sometimes chill behind the reception desk and sometimes leave a residual odor in the hallways. Good place to stay, although there's not much of a common area so it's not super social.

A great place to stay a little away from the center of town (by away I mean a 5 minute walk). It's not as loud and hyper social as some of the other hostels in town - which was exactly what I was looking for. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, the air con works well, the wifi is great and the beds are decent sized and comfortable.
Lively hostel with a nice bar and restaurant. Close to the metros, clean rooms but neighborhood is a tad shady at night.
Better than advertised - taking into consideration they are a self proclaimed terrible hostel. Rooms and showers were average for what you would expect from a hostel. Location is good, only a block from the tram but you can also walk to the museum area and touristy areas easily.
Nice hostel, busy bar scene but usually with what seemed like large tour groups. Rooms are basic and can be clean or not so clean depending on who's in the room. Staff is helpful but can be busy, check in isn't until 3pm so don't come needing a nap.
Great hostel! Located in walking distance of all the tourist attractions (Charles Bridge, Old Square etc) and easily accessible by public transportation. Hostel is really clean and has original 17th century (or something like that) paintings on the ceilings and used to be a 5 star hotel so it's very pretty. Staff is also super helpful.
Great hostel with a super social vibe. Location is right by major tourist attractions with easy access to public transportation or if you're not lazy - also in walking distance of the Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island and the East Side Gallery (Berlin Wall). Dorms are clean and the beds are pretty comfortable. The bar downstairs is also great for socializing and meeting new people. Location is easy to find, just look up for the TV tower
Great hostel, helpful staff, friendly vibe. Located about 20 minute walk to the beach and $2 cab to Kuta, it's nice to be away from the chaos of the party area.
Great hostel in a great area of Hanoi with lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance. The hostel was always full of people and has a very friendly and party oriented vibe. Rooms were comfortable and reasonably clean although the AC does shut off from mid-morning until early evening. Great place to stay to meet other backpackers or see the city.
Such a great hostel, the staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are nice and clean and the location is just a few blocks from the beach and right around all the restaurants and bars. Each room has a lounge area with couches and came equipped with a desktop which was linked to the flat screen television. Any hostel where I can stream and watch Game of Thrones on a big screen is a win in my book.
When I came here the place was under construction for slow season, but the owners were super nice and very accommodating. The dorms were kind of like living in a pod hotel.
Great hostel in Siem Reap. Located close to the Night Markets and Pub Street and having a bar of it's own there's pretty much no other place you'd rather be. Staff is helpful and friendly and are able to help you book tours to Siem Reap or buses to your next destination. Top Banana, the upstairs bar always seems to be busy and seems to draw expats from the area in addition to guests of the hostel.
I've been traveling for approximately 5 months and this is my favorite hostel by far. The staff are all amazing, and very helpful and the hostel is very clean, and has a great atmosphere. The pool is great for cooling off midday and the bar/restaurant serves delicious food and drinks. I think I've told pretty much everyone I met going to Cambodia that they have to stay here.
Love the hostel! Although it's sort of in an ... interesting area with all the hostess bars and ladyboys, there are consequently lots of police around so it's pretty safe. And only a short walk from the train. The hostel also has a great room layout, great wifi, good working AC (except 12-5) and the large sized luggage storage under the bunk beds is awesome. And all beds having their own light, outlet and desk is also a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again if I'm back in BKK
Great hostel with a great vibe. The staff is super helpful and there's a really good social vibe. Breakfast is included, but there are also a number of good restaurants in the area and in walkable distance of a trance club.
Good location and one of the best prices you'll find in that area of Sydney but there's not much of a social scene going on in the hostel since there's not really a good common area. The cleanliness was alright except the part where they didn't have paper towels or hand dryers in any of the bathroom. If you're just looking for somewhere to sleep for cheap this is a good choice.

Great hostel! In a bit of a dodgy area but the hostel is secure, and pretty much across the street from the metro and only 2 stops from Bondi beach. The hostel has a great kitchen, free wifi and includes free breakfast. Highly recommend it!
Great hostel - nothing but nice things to say about them. Location is basically across the street from a Metro stop and only 2 stops away from Bondi Beach. Area is lively at night, but can be a bit shady so be careful, but the security in the hostel is good regardless. Kitchen area is also very nice!
By far the best hostel facilities I've seen. The pool, hot tub and sauna are as advertised which is probably why you're going in the first place. They also have free breakfast and soup in the evening which are far from gourmet, but if you're a hungry backpacker I guess they'll do the trick. Great social environment as well.
Good location, although unless you really like walking long distances you probably need a car to get to the glacier view. The kitchen and living room were good. My problem was the blankets in the room were absolutely stinky. I noticed a smell in the room and thought it was the other backpackers but once I tried to bundle up I realized the blankets smelled like the last 50 people had sweated into it and it had never been washed. Also - no wifi, but free desktop usage.
Great hostel with a party vibe. They have a nice happy hour and you can't beat the $7.50 beer and chili dinner special. The staff is also super helpful and friendly and helped us to book the Tongariro Hike and a boat ride. The hour of free wifi also comes in handy but if you need more you can always buy unlimited 24 hours for $4 which isn't too bad. They also have parking which was a plus for us.
Great hostel in an excellent location! The staff was super friendly and helpful and the facilities were great - especially the hot tub. The free rice, pasta and tea was also a nice touch. Great place - I highly recommend it!
Good location close to town but it's hard to get to the sites without a car. Otherwise, very quiet and relaxing.

Great hostel, in a nice residential area, but with plenty of restaurants and shops down the block. The staff was incredibly helpful and the rooms were spacious. I stayed in the 3 person dorm and it had in-room locker space as well as individual "closet" lockers.
While the location is ehhhh cabs are cheap and plentiful. The staff is great, and there are lots of people hanging out in the common room and kitchen Plus they have a pool table. While I didn't enjoy the city of cordoba much, I had a great time at the hostel and enjoyed watching soccer and drinking beers with other travelers and the staff.
Great hostel! The layout with the courtyard was excellent and conducive to meeting people. The staff is also very helpful
