Needs kitchen(s), fridges, cooking equipment, hot water boiling facilities, mugs, bowls, plates, cutlery etc. and a dining area. (and if breakfast can be included as an additional option it should not be so expensive - i would not pay more than £3 for it,) i wanted to bring my own items to use to make my own breakfast and was very disappointed when i rang beforehand to find there was no cooking facilities
A great hostel, short walk from train/bus station with a bar, restaurant and seating area. Although its a bit pricey compared to other hostels I have stayed. (with noisy occupants until 6am when I stayed despite the threat of loosing 10Euro deposit if you break the "House Rules" - i'm sure they didn't). Some staff were good and helpful, but one or two were very unhelpful and quite rude. Other than that, I would give it another try just incase this was a one-off bad experience.
Great building and a fantastic base location to explore London (Quieter than other areas but close enough to get around and a very nice district) good facilities e.g. kitchen, common room
Excellent location for Platt Fields park especially. Comfortable beds and breakfast included! Great value for money - car parking handy too.
An excellent clean and friendly Hostel, with useful facilities such as Kitchen, Washer, and a lovely lounge with music, DVDs etc. You'll wish you could stay longer! There are shops etc. on the road adjacent and only 5-10min walk from Haymarket Train station and the rest of the city centre attractions within a short walking distance also. Enjoy!
very basic, no frills - we booked for the location more than anything - 5 min walk to Kings Cross stations. If you're not too bothered about location e.g. getting tubes to and from where you want to go then you could probably get better value for money in a different location. But this was convenient for us.
Its the luck of the draw what room you get - ours was great with small TV and decent En suite. Tea/coffee facilities, towels and breakfast included = very good. Very good location next to some shops/restaurants and cafes and 5 minutes walk to West Jesmond Metro station or a bus stop is right outside - both which take you into the centre of Newcastle in a few minutes. Excellent value for money
My first stay in a Hostel and definately will use hostelworld again. Rome was fantastic so i didn't spend much time in the Yellow but it served its purpose - I would recommend it to anyone wanting a good base to explore Rome - i would go again! basic and simple and probably much better than a lot of Hostels out there. I was lucky with my roommates too - they were quiet like mice! Staff seemed knowledgable and helpful most of the time. Room was clean - underbed storage is great! Thankyou Yellow
