The hostel where kiwi ex stop so expect lots of people. Free breakfast is just toast and evening meal is snack size, queue early and don't expect any seconds! Bit too big for my liking.

Free soup was ok, had to be quick for the tasty treats. Big kitchen. Breakfast was useful. No shelf to put soap in the shower. WiFi didn't work.

Lovely fresh bread in the morning, shame there wasn't more! Could do with a shelf for soap in the showers. Free bike hire was useful as it's a few minute walk from town. Nice owners

Very tall squeaky bunk beds. Decent sized rooms with small lockers. Shelf to put your soap in the shower! Ok snack sized meals can be doubled for $2.

Hi there, thanks very much for taking the time to leave your feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Now the busy Summer period is nearing an end I will be replacing many of the bunks so should certainly alleviate those issues. I'm glad you took advantage of the free meal in our onsite bar too, always nice to have a meal cooked for you when you're away! Hope to see you back in Wellington again in the future. I left an item in a room and Phil very kindly posted it to me. Could do with a common room, otherwise it's ideal for backpackers on a budget.
