Decent stay all in all. Very small lockers and a severe lack of plug sockets in the room let it down but helpful staff, a fantastic location and a pool table brought it back up. Personally, I wouldn't have wasted space on a bath in the toilets as you could create room for more showers. They had shreddies (or equivalent) at breakfast, which is always a plus for me. (I realise this will not be a key point for most people! :) )
Olly is great as are the rest of the staff and they give you a wealth of information. Really great hostel in a really great city!
Great hostel, really colourful and vibrant with lots of amenities. Now many negatives, breakfast isn't the best (you pay for that separately though) and some rooms have unisex bathrooms, which my girlfriend and some other friends are not big fans of. Common room is great though, nice small bar, which doesn't project noise to the dorms and great security, including an awesome baggage storage system if you've checked out.
Nice place but the common room is too close to the dorms meaning people who want to be a bit louder in the evenings can't or people who want to sleep can't because people are being to loud. Another negative is security, lockers are good but it is very easy to get into the hostel and any room without being noticed. Staff were lovely though especially Ania who taught us Polish and told us loads of things to do. The location is also fantastic and they have free tea and coffee! :)
Great place, Brenda really looked after us and we were right on the beach. For those who don't realise, it is not in Agadir, it's about 2 hours south so make sure Mirleft is where you want to go. (It's much better than Agadir!) Hassan's food (the cafe next door) is amazing and for chilling out in a truly relaxing place, Aftas beach house rules!

Really great hosts, Achmed looked after us, the rooms were very Moroccan and really comfortable. It was a little quiet and really hard to find but otherwise, it was fantastic. Advice when getting there, get a taxi/ bus to Jemaa El Fina, then make sure you stay on the right side of the square but continue straight all the way through. From there, take the second left and then the third left after that, it looks like a small alleyway but the street name is on the right hand side.

Great place to stay, extremely cheap for London, nice clean rooms and friendly staff. We were on the second floor and didn't get distracted by the sound of the pub below. It was a perfect place to rest before my London to Brighton bike ride the next day. A nice add on would be a lounge room and a kitchen but I guess that would put the price up, so I'd prefer it the way it is in that case.
Not a bad hostel but we've stayed in much better. The lady on reception on our first night (18/03/2013) was very helpful and welcomed us kindly but it was a stark contrast the following morning at 11am when the lady on duty decided it was not her job to talk to us, help us find our way to the airport, smile, or even look at us. Maybe it isn't but it should be and that let the hostel down a lot. Either she needs to be trained by the evening lady or she needs to be replaced!
Great place to stay. Luke and Fleur really look after you and make you feel at home, the breakfast is a selection of fresh meat, cheese, bread, croissants, cereal, tea, coffee, juices.....! The rooms are lovely although the bathroom door in our room didn't properly close. It is a 10-15 min walk away from the market and any help needed is provided. Loved it here and would recommend to anyone!
A damp smell when you walk in and a manager (Mr Hassan) who is not aware of the role of customer service made for a bad review of this hotel. The rooms are not great but OK, the location isn't great and there is a city tax added to the price, which before we got there was not advertised on the hostel-world website. (After my complaint, it now should be). Main complaint is customer service though.
Really nice place, no locks on individual doors though. Staff were nice and Pueto de Mogan is a nice quiet not so touristy part of Gran Caneria

Great hostel, cool idea with the prison but made to still feel homely and comfortable, would definitely stay there again!
One of the worst hostels I've ever stayed in. One of the beds literally had brown stains all over it! You can decide for yourselves what that might be. The kitchen was not exactly a cooking friendly environment and the toilets and showers were slightly less hygenic than the third world standards. On the plus side it was cheap and was better than the salvation army shelter I stayed in when I was in India.
Really nice staff and owner, help with everything you could need. They will be better in a few months I think as they are currently refurbishing
Best hostel I've ever stayed in, which considering I've stayed in over 50 is saying something. Its clean, fun, friendly, secure and welcoming with great owners. Jason and Chantelle really look after you and after picking us up from the ferry, took care of our every need. The location isn't too close to Old Quebec but is close enough and is perfect for a countryside getaway with some amazing surroundings! Stay here is you can!!!! :)
Hostel was clean and Steve is a nice guy, the common room is big, which is good. The atmosphere isnt great though, the beds and even the pillows are plastic and God help you if you are even near the hostel afdter 10am. We were kicked out of the kitchen even though we had checked out of the room and brought all of our bed sheets.
Nice hostel with good people, only one kitchen, which disapointed me a little especially as it only had one stove but liked it otherwise
Fantastic hostel, dorm rooms are really spacious and some even have their own kitchens, all have there own bathrooms. The staff are really helpful and friendly and I will definitely stay there again.
Great hostel, little far out from downtown but right next to the subway. Really nice owner and great staff!
Really cool place, can be a little quiet as it is a small hostel but it is clean, secure and in a decent locations with Louis who runs the place willing to help with anything you ask for. Would reccomend to anyone.
Cool place, really nice staff, so helpful and really make the place feel like home, would definitely stay again. It is slightly crowded in the TV room sometimes but that's its only real downfall
Staff would have been excellent except the assistant manager who I think is named Pheona was always moody and it seemed resentful to do her job. The rest however were great
Really cool people there and much cleaner than anywhere I have stayed yet, little bit more expensive but worth it overall I'd say
