It is a little hard tolocate the hostel as it is on the ntop of a small hill. It is on a small street that you can gain access but you have to find the way to go up then. The hostel is close to the city centre and Market Square where you can do some shopping. It is ssquiet as it is not on the main road. The breakfast is minimal and the room rates are very reasonable.
Thhe location is a little hard to find as it is at the far end of the street. The management is very friendly and helpful and so were the guests there. They offer good free breakfast and with a payment of US$ 3 you can have dinner there.
One of the best hostels in Vietnam. The reception is very friendly and helpful. All staff members are courteous and friendly. It is located in the tourist area and close to the beach. Neabt there are many restaurants and convenience shops. The hostel can arrange tours and transport for guests at reasonable price. The breakfast is excellent and offers a variety of food and drink. Higly recommended.
the hostel is a bit hard to locate; like most hostels they are found on narrow lanes and the address is derived from the number of the street ( main street) but once in the lane you would be lost and disorriented. The hostel shows hospitality by offering hospitality drink, free breakfast etc.One can get tours and airport transport at reasonable price.
some dorms are beter as they have ensuite toilet and bathroom; the lights in some dorms are not good as they shine on others ( if some turn on the light at night)
The room rates are very competitive. They are lower than those of YHAs in Australia. It also does not charge any fee for wifi. The kitchen has good facilities. It has a big dining room. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Some cereals could be given on top of bread and jam. If a TV set is put in place in the co mmon room, that would be great. The sign placed on the main street should be made more eye catching as vuests coming at night may miss it in the dark. More details about the location of the hotel is to be supplied.
The hostel is in the old town which offers ancient architecture; beautiful at night with colored illumination. Those like me who do not care much around the sea would like to get through the old town and relive history. The local Chinese museum is small but contains some interesting information about early Chinese settlement and their contibutions.
The hoste l is getting older and it needs some renovation, e.g. locks in the shower roomand shower control etc. The staf are still friendly. Room rates remain unchanged for a long time.
dGood ambience and helpful staff. Pity the owner Ms Aoi was away so I could not bid farewell to her for my 5th stay there. Choose the orms with only one floor as those living in dorms with 2 floors would be disturbed by those walking on the seond floor at night
IT WAS THE THIRD TIME I STAYED THERE. IT IS CLOSE TO THREE KING MONUMENT.THE UI GOOD IF SOME UNRULY WESTERN GUESTS DID NOT TALK LOUDLAT 3 30 AM. iF THE OWNER H MS AOI WERE THERE SHEWOULD HAVE PUT A STOP TO IT. THERE ARE NEW STAFF BUT THEY LACK SOCIA L OR LANGUAGE SKILLS OF THE OLD STAFF MEMBER, ,NORM. THE NEW ONE IS HELP FUL HE APPEARS A BIT RUDE WHEN GREETING GUESTS. NORM THE OLD HAND, HAS AGED WITH SILVERY HAIR. HE CUT OFF ALL HIS HAIR TO HAVE A NEW YOUTHFUL LOOK. GOOD ON HIM.
It is a hotel close to James Street, Northbridge where you find a lot of bars and good restaurants; it is close to the free city bus (Blue Cat) which takes you to Busport where you can go to the pier ( for Rottnett island) and the airport. It offers free breakfast ( bread and jam etc). It offers free wifi ( many hostels in Perth charge guests on an hour basis for wifi service) and wifie is quite good here. It is not so noisy as other hostels on the main street.
The hostel is on the whole well run; reception staff are helpful and friendly. Unfortunately some guests did not wash up dishes after use and many left cups and glasses, bottles and leftover food everywhere. T he hostel is close to Kings Cross, an area famed for night life and alcohol. The hostel allows guests to drink on the premises ( Many public places are out of bounds for drinkers). But guests, from Europe particularly, made too much noise in the common room at the basement .
The hostel is in St Kilda area, close to the sea; so a good chance for those who like have a dip in water and sunbathing;; it is close to transport and on a t ram y ou can go to the city centre in half an hour. But the hostel is full of energetic young guys and girls who release their energy by shouting with foul language; young people have the privilege of making mistakes but sometimes they go too far. the kitchen is right next to the reception and common room so the whole place is hot.
eThe hostel is close t o Victoria Square an transport. If youhap pen o bookin advance during promotion period, you are givn a big discount. The staff Josh is very helpful and so i the owner trevor. The kitchen is big and well equipped but it is a pity some guests did not cleanup the mess they left. The benefit of staying is the hostel offers free bikes and you can bile all the way to the beaches ( e.g. Glenelg)
It is a good place to watch fireworks ( on 4th of July, for example). It is once a fortests to protect San Francisco. It is close to the public bus stop ( no. 47 and 49) where you canake a bus to the city. The hostel offers complimenry breakfast and you need to produce a coupon to have it. The only thing is tha some people may not have enough to have just 2 pieces of bread or 1 bagle. But to me it is a good idea that people do ot eat too much.
The hostel offers a member room rtes if a membership card is produced. Even I did ot have it with me, the manageress agreed to give me a discounted rate after I hadd shown m bookinhg records on the net. It offers good breakfast and on certain daysbudget rates for diner. But the drawback is tht the hostel is loated at Little Saigon where a lot of homeless people stay. It could be a little intimating, espeially at night when they ask for a small change. The hostel let guests make local calls
Reception stass need to be more vigilant when peopl come in as it is no locatedin a good area. The doo opens to a main street. Guests are expeced o show a kind of pass, which is not strictly enforced when reception is too busy with guests checking in or making enquiries.
. The atmosphere of the hostel is very good. Free breakfast is remarkable and so re free dinner n Sundys, Tuesday and Thursday. It is good to publicize itfor all guests. And it is better to stik to the time as advertised. But the wifi is not very workable in the hostel.
It is close to Union Aquare, about 15 minutes walk. It is close to the bus stop to Caltrain bus terminal. The hostel has good security measure; all guests need to flash a paper showing a security number when entering the hostel. The breakfast is good and complimentary. But sometimes wifi is not working very well. The only drawback is the hostel is teeming with homeless people. Like Seatule, many streets are smelly with urine. Guests are told by the reception to stay away dein xertaun streets,
The inn is axx hostel with en suite bathrro or communal ones. It is a bt expensive for this type ,especially if you come on weekends ($75 instad of $70 ). It is a good one wth the least expensive room rates in Manhattan area unless you move to other areas north of 100thStreet in Harlem or Bronx or Broolyn area. The good thing is it is close to Times Square ( 30 minutes walk). You save more as you do not need to a bus or subway ( $2.75 for a ride or $2.50 with Metrocard.$5 for lugguage deposit
The hstel is in the old district, so it is close to many historic sites and within walking distane. It offers free drinks at 8 pm and a $2 guided walk. The room has 16 (?) beds and it is a bit crowded. It provides lockers for guests, which is a good thing. The kitchen is well equiped with all kinds of amenities.
it is close the metro and about 25 minute walk to the Mall; the breakfast is not too bad; security is good and the staff are very helpful. Wifi is quick too. You get your money's worth by staying in this hostel. It is close to many heritage attractions. You can walk from the metro station (Convention centre station) to the hostel if you do not too much lugguge.
Yhe hostel is only 15 minutes away from the ferry pier and bus terminal. It is only ten minutes away to the old district where you see old Portugue traces left by Portugues in the 17th entury. It is a very qiiet town where there are NO affic lights. Cars need to stop at the intersection to ensure a safe crossing. Most historic ttractions such as the fortess, architecture a lighthouse can be viewed completely in half day. It is hghly recommende for those who seek quiet moments to walk a reflect.
The hostel is ot too close to the bus terminal. It took me some time to locate it. T.h e dorm has 9 beds n throom. The room is big eough and the bathroom is spaious It appears the hostel provides washing stuff. There is a locker for each guest but you need to have your lock. The staff are friendly but one of them often loved to turn the volume of the hi fi to the maximum. The management needs to tidy up the refrigeratior as guests put too many thing there ad is messy.
The owners Anna and Jose are fiendly and helpful. They are strict about housing keeping and cleanliness. They expect gusts to keep quiet after 11 pm, whch is good and understandablle. Guests are told to put off thier 'smell' shoes outside their rooms, which is good but perhaps the request needs to be toned down a bit. And maybe sme guests ause the use of hostel facilitites after checking out, e.g. using the computer. The management stipulates that guests vacate the hostel after checkout.
The hostel is not too close to Sundady night markets or night market at Tae Pae Gate. It is close to Saturday Night Market though. It is next to Watr Sri Supran, a temple whose Buddhas are made of silver. There is a small swimming pool there. The dorm offers 4-person space ( many dorms have 5 - 8 beds) There is a small local restaurant there and a good boutique restaurant. Itr is close to the airport but at night you cannot hail lany taxi or song taew or tut tut after 9 pm.
It is close to local market and bus termin u s (Sompet) and Three Kings Monument. It is behind a main street and it may be a little had tolocate the hostel has a fine grden and it offers meals. there is a bike shop nearby ( next toThai Airlines ). The manager is helpful and so is the owner Ms Aoi. It is within walking distance to Sunday Market. you can opt for bed space or a room.
in the centre of the city; it i close to the ferry pier going to ji Chuan where you sample sea food. The bus stop for Route No.248 is near the inn and you can go to downtomwn wih ease at a cost of 12 dollars ( seniors pay half fare). The inn is remarkakble for its decor of old times. The anageress is very informative and helpful, giving you all useful information guests need. It is a litle hard to loate but she was kind enough to pick me up at 7-11 store. IIt is highly recommended .
It is close to downtown and many restauratnts in Miri.It is close to a big shopping centre named Bintang Mall where you can shop and watch movies. In Malaysia on Movie Day (Wednesday) admission is only RM$7.00 The owner, Mrs Lee is very friendly and helpful. She goes a long way to assisting guests with information and transport. The hostel is immaculately clean. It offers free breakfast, shampoo and bath stuff. She responds to guests bookings and requests promptly. Highly recommended.
Iet is a well run hostel;staff are friendly and knowlegable. It is close to bus terminal, the waterfront, local market and Heirtage Trails. But the only drwback is that many rooms do not have windows. They are not good for those who suffer from claustrophobia. WWhen you wake up, you have no ide if it is day time or night time. I nearly overslept and missed my long distance for Kota Kinabalu National Park. If you stay there, it is imperative to set your alarm with your clock or a mobile phone.
he hostel is close to a bus station for trips to Beaufort, lawas, Bruni and miri. It is right next to Gaya Street where you can visit Sunday Market. It is close to many restaurants one of which offers inexpensive dishes and seafood. It is called Old Farm, in Cithpark and opposite Post Office. It is only fifteen minutes walk to Jesslton ferry pier where you board boats for islands such as Manukan, Sapi ( two of the islands of the Turku Rahman National Park)
The hostel is close to Three Kings Square and museums; it is close to Sompet Market that offers a good chance to go shopping for fruits and local products. It is close to one of my favourite massage centes named Nina Massage that is on Soi 9, No. 61.You get really good services and skills there by Nina and Dao. The owner, Aoi, of the hostel is knowledgeable in many aspects and guests staying there are given a lot of useful tips for travels and transport. The room rates are very inexpensive
The hostel is close to the airport but you need to take a taxi or jeepney to go there; the same for the trip to the airport; public vehicles need to go to the city main gate where they head for the aorport. The hostel is not easy to find and you need to walk for more than ten minutes from the main street to the hostel. It offers complimentary breakfast but if you leave early you could do without it.
It was the second time I stayed here. It still has the friendly atmosphere and now a new cafe is added to the hostel where guests can have their welcome ritual ( Indian pancake, or banana fritte and a drink upon arrival. Now the bathrooms are equiped with hangers so guests can put clothing or towels there as suggested by me last time. It is unfortunate the intrusion by unfriendly personnel had caused a downturn in business for the whole Sabah. But still I could still enjoy seafood at Sim Sim.
The hostel is centrally located in the Old District and close to the shuttle bus offered by Vietnam Airlines ( you do not need to be the passenger of this airline). It offers free shuttle bus service if you come from the train station or bus terminus. It provides airport private car service from the airport at a price ( 32 kilometres for $18, same or less than taxi drivers); one may as well use it as you are very likely to be ripped off, overcharged or robbed ( many lost items put in the trunk)
It is close to Thapaie gate and the three kings square. It is inexpensive but try not to get a dorm space close to the door as there are no curtains or light for the dorm space there. The hostel offers breakfast at a price.
It is not to locate the resort; if you phone the hostel, a van may be out for you at the bus station; it provides shuttle bus service for guests going to the bus station but need to enquire and confirm the request. I chose a single room and its room rate was low but there was only a bed plus a fan and nothing more. There is a window facing the corridor but not the street; so the room may get a bit stuffy. You pay 100 Bahts for a continental breakfast and 150B for an Amerincan one ( pricey0
The hostel is not easy to locate; it is at the far end of a lane; it is close to the Three Kings Monument. There is a big Chinese/Thai restaurant nearby. The owner is very helpful and greets each guest coming in; so the security can be seen as good. The hostl provides breakfast at a price. It is considered a hostel that charges guests fairly.
It is not easy to locate this hostel as it is at the far end of a lane (soi) but it is close to the Three Kings Square and museums. It is close to Tha Pae Gate. The dorm spaces are in a big room partitioned by a large piece of curtain. The owner was very helpful and phoned a tut tut for me for the bus station (Arcade). He was willing deposit my backpack for a couple of days before I came back even there might not be space available when I returned.
The hostel has more than one branch; normally you will be directed to the main branch where you will be re-directed to an.other premises ( on foot, five minutes walk). It is close to Zhong Shan and Taipei train station/ MTR ( underground) Actually you can walk on the underground road all the way from Taipei station to Zhong Shan station. The hostel may be understaffed; often noone is in the hostel; you need to call the manager/owner.One needs to drop keys on the keys unattended.
The hostel is close to a metro station ( Hongjik University) It is a very good location because this station provides the Airport Express so that you do not need to change train. This direct expression goes to the airport ( or from the airport) in half an hour. The owner is very considerate; the map made by him on the net is very clearly made out; once you follow his instructions you have no problem finding the hostel.

The hostel is well run and staffed with well mannered personnel. It provides basic significant facilities. One really gets one's money's worth here. It would look much better if the patched up parts on the wall could be re-painted to give a tidy look to the hostel. If possible, bathrooms/toilets should have some device ( e.g. basket, hanger) provided so that guests having a shower there could deposit clothing ( clean / dirty) there. The hostel provides complimentary breakfast that is good.
It is just average; breakfast is included but staff does not seem to publicize it; breakfast is coffee, bread, butter and jam; sometimes congee/ porridge offered. there is no chair or desk in the room.
it is a bit noisy as it is on the main street but it is close to bus terminus and central market.
it has a very good location, close to China Town and transport ( bus stops and MTR station) but it is a little hard to locate. You need to look up for the big banner with the hostel name.

It is worth staying in this hostel as it is clean and close to transport. There is a good bakery where you have your breakfast and delicious cakes and bread The hostel is at the intersection of two roads. The description is a bit unclear saying the building is pink. Actually it has pink stripes on the wall. I was looking for a building painted completely in pink. You would be mistaken if you do that.
the .given by the hotel is a little inaccurate; now there is no U-bus going to the hotel from the airport. It is a very small hostel, with only two rooms for men and women Peter
excellent for the money&s worth; very clean and close to the train station

Staff are friendly; excellent location as it is close to central rail station, it is a bit far from Peace Park though. Should consider giving discount coupon to loyal customers to attract more visitors coming.
Good location for those intending to use bus services; the nearby train station is a bit far though. Good for those who love to do window shopping or shopping for that matter as the hostel is close to the underground shopping area and the pedestrian walk which is lined with hundreds of shops.
