Brussels Hostel Grand Place

Brussels, Belgium

Fantastic location right beside the Grand Place but it is very difficult to find the check in, which is a mile or 2 away, especially as the directions given are very confusing and don't mention the street names that you need. Once you find the check in the staff are very friendly and give you better directions to the hostel. If you are only staying for one night like we were, it is probably not worth the trouble as the hostel itself is fine but average... but the location is amazing :)

Everything was fine if you just need a place to stay. A great breakfast with as much as you could eat. Clean and friendly staff. But not good if you're travelling alone... no activities and no atmosphere but that's kind of what you get from these bigger hostels so no complaints :)

Although there probably aren't any hostels much better in Moscow I can only judge by hostels in Europe and it's not good. Not clean and showers broken and nothing much happening. At least there's tea, coffee, free internet and common areas but still pretty grim.

Generator Hostel Hamburg

Good modern hostel with excellent location right by old town and main station connecting you to everywhere. Main drawbacks for me were: no kitchen, expensive internet and really tiny toliet and shower rooms - literally the size of those on a airplane - no joke - but as others have pointed out there are bigger ones in the corridors. Not a massively social hostel when I was there but nice bar and so many people staying that you're bound to meet someone if you want to. Genrally good, thanks.

Great social hostel for meeting people - worth it for the roof top bar alone. Staff good and plenty of space in the rooms. Thanks.

Albergue Zaragoza Hostel

Zaragoza, Spain
77%

If you want somewhere nice and clean to stay then this is great, it´s a beautiful old building with plenty of space and well run. Zaragoza is well worth a visit as well with it´s stunning square and buildings. But if you want fun or to meet people this is a very poor hostel. There is nothing to encourage meeting people and the bar is never open but to be fair all the residents seem to be university students just waiting for accomodation.
