For the activities (cooking class, tours) and staff, this place is wonderful. We also really enjoyed shisha on the rooftop with the owner, Aziz. He is an awesome guy and is very helpful as far as making your time in Fes enjoyable. The rooms, though, are not very clean (for example, black hairs all over our sheets). For everything but sleeping and showering, this is a good hostel for your time in Fes.

This hostel is definitely for those looking to explore on their own and not for meeting people. The location is good only for Parc Guell. Otherwise, it's far from the Metro and anything else. The staff are friendly, but offered little guidance on things in the area (eg restaurants, bars, etc). The rooms are decently nice, though, and the top room has a great terrace. Come here only if you're looking to explore on your own - this is a good place to sleep and shower, not much more.

If you're looking for a comfortable place to sleep and don't mind a bit of a jaunt into the city center, this is a great place. It's not much of a "hostel," at least in the social sense. It's not convenient for the city center nightlife. BUT it is very clean and very comfortable with a nice bar area downstairs.

Stayed here for 3 nights, which was 3 nights too long. The bathrooms were disgusting, the dorms were far too cramped, and the facilities were simply run down. It was also really annoying that there were extended stay guests in our room who had simply taken over the room - any closet space was taken up by them and their things were left on our beds at times. The hostel staff should do a better job of policing this arrangement. Hostel is also far from the tube and anything worthwhile. Dont stay.

Our room was incredibly hot and the windows didn't open. It smelled weird because there was no air flow and was just stuffy. Also, the room was right next to the bar and we heard every noise in there late at night...one night a fight broke out and it was loud until 4am. I was hoping for much more out of this hostel.
