The hostel's in a great spot, very close to the port and bus station and not far from the old town. The atmosphere in the hostel was a bit weird when I was there, but that may have just been the people there that day. A good place none the less.
I really enjoyed my stay here and stayed longer than expected because of that. You can easily reach the hostel from the bus station (one short bus ride) and can walk into the old city in about 15 mins. The hostel is a beautiful old building, very spacious, with lots of great places to kick back and relax. Staff were also excellent. Highly recommended.
Great spot. The location is superb, just off the main street and a short walk into the lovely historic centre. Thw staff were helpful and friendly and my bed was comfy. The warm fireplace was very welcome in the chilly Uruguayan winter.
A good place to stay, in San Telmo (a very good spot) and just a couple of blocks from the subway. I would definitely stay there again.
This hostel is about as perfect as any you will ever find, and Rosario is a lovely city to while away a few days in. The hostel is on one of the central historic boulevards, with a charming park down the middle of it and not too much traffic. You can easily walk to the river, the park or the centre. Inside the hostel is clean, bright, with great facilities and helpful staff- a wonderful place.
A really great place, a three minute hop from the subway station in a safe neighbourhood. The staff did their utmost to help and the vibe of the place was so good that I stayed an extra three days. Highly recommended.
Really enjoyed my stay here. The location (not too far from the metro, a five minute bus hop from the Rodoviaria) is good, being more central you can feel a bit less like a tourist and wander into the centre or into Lapa, lovely. The staff were absolutely terrific- with proper advice and daily guides of the things going on that day you felt like you were part of the place. Lovely spot.
I liked it here, a lovely place in a great part of town. Santa Theresa (the local neighbourhood) is a treat that needs to be explored. The hotel is a stone's throw from the subway and not too far of a walk into the city or to the beach. The staff were tremendous, top notch! The nine bed dorm was a bit cramped, but at the same time I had three good sleeps, which is all you can really ask for. Recommended!
Terrific place, I'd stay there again in a second. It was November when I visited, so only a few people were there, but I imagine in the summer it must be brilliant. Right between the train/bus station and town, easy walks to both. Top stuff.
Nice place, more of a hotel (with dorms) than a traditional boots and all hostel, but I liked it there. It was very quiet as it was November, but you'd expect that really. Takes a good 20-30 minutes to walk into town (slightly less for the station), but catching the bus is simple and the bus stop is right outside the door.
Not a bad place. Right next to the subway station- from there it's ten minutes into the centre of the town (on the subway). The bathroom situation's been commented on, If you need to extend to the weekend book in advance or there's a chance the locals coming for some Milan clubbing will have filled up the place.
Great place, ten minute walk from the Termini station and in an area with lots of restaurants, internet cafes and that sort of thing. One evening I left my phone near reception by accident and the next morning the receptionist had it and was waiting to give it back to me- wonderful to have such trustworthy people helping you to enjoy your stay.
One of the most unique places I have ever stayed- in a good way. Giovanni is a character you won't forget. He'll give you the grand tour on his computer, make delicious food for every hostel inhabitant and lead songs for everyone else to join in with. memories to treasure, you'd be mad to stay anywhere else in Naples. It's Giovanni's world and we just live in it.
Terrific place, right in the middle of the city, and only a hop, skip and a jump from Oktagon subway stop.
Absolutely wonderful place. Just a few painless stops away from the station by bus, then the hostel is a couple of minutes walk from the town centre, the main post office, a shopping mall with a cinema and everything else. Special word about the hostel owner, he becomes more of a friend than a stuffy old bloke in a hostel, I really enjoyed talking with him and he helped in every way possible. Stay here if you come to Novi Sad!
Brilliant place, I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. The staff treat you as a friend not another boring guest and they help you in every way they can. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the location is perfect, on the wonderful bohemian street just a stone's throw from the main square.
Good place. The staff were very good and very helpful, went above and beyond trying to help me out during the strikes last week. The location is right near the markets and a short walk from all the sights (and the subway). I stayed here longer than I expected, which tells you all you need to know.
So good I stayed there twice!
Really good place, just a short walk along the beach from the ferry (free pickup was helpfully provided). Near the beach and the centre of the beautiful town. Top place.
Lovely place, it takes fifteen or twenty minutes to walk into Firos, but it's a nice enough walk with shops and things on the way. The staff were fantastic and this was a terrific place to stay.
Nice place, right where you'd want to be in Plaka and not far from the airport bus/subway. Wifi was a bit iffy, but other than that this was a good place to stay.
The location is top notch, right amongst the thick of the action and not far from all the historic sights you'll want to see. In the summer I'm sure the outside area would be lovely, but sadly I was there in winter when it was a bit chillier.
Really good place, about ten minutes to walk into the central square, but I enjoyed the walk- and it meant the area was nice and quiet. Great staff and a lovely atmosphere. recommended.
Very quiet when I stayed there (the season is coming to a close), but it's a super place in a good place right next to the river and not far from the bus and train stations. Nice relaxed vibe.
Great place, well recommended. the location is perfect, a couple of minutes walk down from Taksim Square (a transport hub) and just off the main shopping street where you can find food, drinks and everything else. The staff were brilliant, made me feel totally at home and helped me a tremendous amount whenever help was needed. The facilities are good and the showers are always hot. You'll struggle to find a better place to stay in Istanbul.
A simply brilliant hostel, as good as any I have ever been to. Fantastic relaxing and social atmosphere (but not ever loud). The location is great, just down from the fortress, the food is moorish (and twice a day), the staff are friendly and terrific and the UFO tour is absolutely not to be missed. Choose this hostel, you won't regret it.
Really cool place. Right in the middle of town on the first floor of the building. the staff were all terrific, very helpful and the place has a real social vibe, with Wii Mario Kart a mainstay :) . Heartily recommended.
Location is brilliant. right in the middle of two between the two main squares. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful and the place has terrific central common room which gives it a wonderfully social fee. Top notch!
Better than the rating. It's more a pension than a hostel, so not much of an atmosphere, but the facilities are fine, the rooms are decent and it's a stone's throw from the train station (yet only a ten minute walk into town), so I'd happily stay here again despite there probably be more charismatic hostels elsewhere in Sighisoara.
This hostel is the nuts! Ticks just about every box for what you're looking for in a hostel. Staff very helpful and even a free bottle of beer every night, beat that!
Bucharest is a bit of a spread out city but the hostel's location is great, 10 min walk from Gara de Nord station and 15 from the Historic Centre or Romana of Victorei Squares. The facilities are excellent (one of the bathrooms is huge!) and there's plenty of spots to rest, relax and chill out- even a hammock. But best of all are the superb staff. Melania and Chris are as good as any hostel staff as you'll ever meet. Incredibly helpful, always smiling and always willing to have a chat. Yay!
The bunker is genuinely magnificent. Sadly there were others sleeping down there when I stayed, but I gather usually it is less busy and the bunker can be used more as a hangout area. The hostel is a short walk from the centre of town which is superb. My only real complaint was that because the hostel is reasonably cramped if anyone is having even a normal conversation the noise wakes everyone else up...and by the same token, if you are having a normal chat you're the one doing the waking.
Terrific place, staying with Luba, a grandma, in her house. She rents out the two bedrooms and makes breakfast in the morning. She doesn't speak any English but is very caring and sweet and helps as much as she can. Her grandaughter is on the other end of the phone speaking English fluently to help out if need be. Nearby the apartment (on the fifth floor) is a supermarket, restaurants and it's just a ten minute bus trip across the road into town. Recommended!
Right next to the train station, bus station and the huge market, and it's easy to catch a tram across to the beach, so the location was spot on. There was a power cut for a day when I stayed, which was a bit annoying, but it's a great place a thoroughly worth staying at if in Odesa.
Really good place, a ground floor apartment not too far from the middle of town and the football stadium (10-15 minute walk to either). I'd definitely stay here again if in Donetsk.
Really good place with a restaurant out front serving good cheap food, however it's a 1500m walk from the subway, not 150! Worth it though. It's very new, in a nice area and at the botanical garden nearby you can take a 25 minute cable car into Gorky Park in the middle of town...how cool is that?
There was no hot water except for in one shower when I stayed, but that was due to construction work so may have been fixed by now. Good place all round, a hop skip and a jump from the Olympic Stadium and a fifteen minute walk into the town centre. Also a twenty minute walk from the station.
Nice place, but like most in Russia a real bugger to find. The door is a plain metal one just to the left of the hair salon. Being Samara there were not really many other travelers about, but lots of live in Russians instead, but it was still a good place- probably the best place you're likely to find in the city.
Just about everything you could ask for in a hostel. Everything is new and clean yet the place still has bags of character and places to hang out. Terrific riverside location but only a stroll up to the village centre. Rented a bike here as well. Brilliant place.
Really good hostel. Close to the metro and not too far from the city centre. Only a couple of bathrooms, but that's not too bad if you plan strategically.
Nice place, not too far from the train station and not too far from the town either, there's even a decent size supermarket just along the road. It's just an old man's converted apartment, but it's done well and feels like a good place.
Really good place, but an absolute bugger to find. Even once I'd found the building I had no idea how to get in and through which door. Once iside it's really good though. Great facilities and helpful staff. I was the only one there for a couple of nights, with the universities being out and not so many hostellers like me about. Still, that gave me the run of the place. Every cloud...
Top quality place to stay, just 5-10 minutes from a couple of metro stations, one of them a main railway station too. The staff were great and helpful and the place had a really good feel to it (despite the Southampton FC flag). When I returned to Moscow I stayed here again, so I suppose that shows it to be a good place.
One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Very friendly and helpful staff, who both give you tips for your city travels, but also become your friends. If I stay in St Petersburg again (which is another recommendation because it's a brilliant city) I would definitely stay here.
Absolutely top place, everything you're looking for in a hotsel: clean, comfortable, helpful staff, fun, good places to relax and meet people. Definitely a placeworth recommending.
Good place to stay, very big, which means you're likely to be able to stay an extra night, but means the place loses a bit of character. None the less, a good hostel. Oh yes, the staff were very good.
Nice enough place. The staff were excellent and the hostel is in a terrific spot, easily walkable from the train station. It was full of small kids when I stayed though...though they were well behaved enough.
In a good area, just a short walk into the middle of the town and the square. Very clean and modern.
Really funky place, cool common room and friendly staff. The room was on its own floor with very good security. A place worth recommending.
Very cool spot, but the not much to stop anyone wandering into all the rooms. Pretty funky though and in a good spot.
Pretty simple place, nothing much to complain about. Nice quiet spot, but (like everywhere in Budapest) not that easy to find.
The owner was brilliant, very helpful and friendly and gave us great tips about where to go, what to see and how to do it. Hostel was a bit tough to find, but once we had located it we had a terrific time there.
Nice place tucked in inside a residential area, but still only a five minute walk from the subway station. The hostel has a big bar/lounge and a cool communal area, but the rooms are more like a hotel than a hostel. That's not a complaint however, our room was very spacious and had a good sized a well-working bathroom.
Brilliant place to stay. As I stayed over new year the staff even put on a new years party where all the guests could come and eat plenty of proper homemade Japanese food for free. A lovely place, very clean and secure and the staff were lovely and spoke excellent English. Also, there was a nice common room/lounge area with internet access and everything, that was a great place to hang out and meet some new folks.

Really great place, lovely staff and only a ten minute walk from all the riverside bars (but far enough away that it\'s a nice quiet place to sleep in).
