YHA London Central

London, England

This hostel is not good at all. Tried to check in - took literally an hour because "the system was down". Went up to my room and ALL OF THE BEDS WERE USED. They told me to take off the bags of one of the beds and sleep there. Did that and was awaken in the middle of the night by the owner of those bags. This hostel feels more like a hotel! Extremely new and comfortable rooms, very good free breakfast (albeit its only till 9.30 AM so you have to wake up early). Very well located, next to some good bars and clubs. Right in the middle of the city, 2 blocks away from The Cavern.

Extremely helpful staff. This hostel is all about peace and quiet, so don't expect partying at all. Very well located, nice rooms, excelent free breakfast. There are some issues with the showers though, it sometimes gets hard to get super hot water, but not that bad either.

BA Soho Rooms

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Excelent hotel with a hostel feel to it. The staff is really willing to help and friendly. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, even though accomodations (tv and such) were not that good (not that it matters, who watches tv on vacation!). The only downside is that it's about a 20 min walk to the nearest subway station, so prepare to stroll! The neighborhood is nice and full of little stores and restaurants so it's nice, but if you're tight on time you should better chose somewhere else.
