Great hostel - social and secure and new! The location is great being close to Gare Du Nord train station (although the area itself doesn't have heaps going on?), the restaurant/bar is fantastic (delicious food!) and the facilities were great - my only issues were having to pay for luggage storage (no option for lockable storage at no added cost) and the bathrooms were quite dirty often due to grubby backpackers. But overall, very recommended!
This was a fantastic hostel to stay in - It was highly secure and was hotel-like which meant you could choose to socialise with other people, hostel-style, or have more privacy and quiet upstairs! It was very clean and maintained very well, and was very secure with card entry to the doors plus lockers in the room, however the lockers were very small - only enough to fit a small backpack in. My only issue was that the WiFi didn't work well up on the 6th floor but was reliable in the lobby area.
Positives. Cleaned daily (by very sweet cleaner!), fantastic location in middle of everything, secure rooms + floor. Negatives. Converted apartment rather than hostel, facilities falsely described so our room had no access to fridge (+ no way to cook), no communal area, washing machine temporarily broken and owner couldn't show how to use it when it worked, and after being locked in bathroom for 45 minutes due to dodgy lock , no apology or replaced lock afterwards. Hospitality training needed!
