Was only there a few days stayed in a private room, slept really well there , its basic but comfortable enough with freindly staff, its up some stairs but whoever worried about that in a hostel
really nice place with helpful and freindly stafff, well located for the bus staion and not so far to be out of walking distance to the city centre.Everybody here was nice and the place was spotlessly clean
These guys also have a party hostel,i didnt stay there,my ratings are for the hostel nr the train station. It was clean friendly and perfect for me.They provided a free evening meal as well ! Ive never experienced that b4.Would recommend to anyone
very good hostel, amongst the best ive stayed in , I stayed in a private room and it was large clean and quite.the breakfast was good and the bar functioned well as a good social area, plenty of computers to use and really good staff.Id recommend this hostel to anyone
very relaxed and low key, nice and helpful staff.good area to stay in.
great hostel the best things were the excellent staff, who were really helpful and nice, and the location with a superb view from the bar area of the beach.i would recommend this place to 20-40 age group.
great location and a lovely old buliding,i gave it a neutral score for fun because as a bed and breakfast/hotel it's not really meant to be fun ,right? it's functional, comfortable and i thought great value for money,
just imagine, you turn up in a place youve never been before, booked in to a private room in a hostel and your given a 60m2 apartment with all facilities you need.I was really comfortable there and although the apartment was a couple of floors down was all the time in my stay made really welcome upstairs.the people who run the hostel are really nice chatty people and i would return anytime, the location is perfect as well .

it's a hotel as you see by the listing ,so not a hostel with meeting space.but the room was lovely and the breakfast ok by the standards of the country.(laos is one of the best places to eat in the world but in my experience breakfast isnt one of their strengths.the staff were polite and friendly
ive got to say first that i only spent 1 night here so maybe i got the wrong impression but, here goes...no internet as advertised, dirty dark little rooms,1 working sink tap for all the boys, same for the girls, girls staying on the g/f have to up upstairs to use the bathroom, not great at night.no info board.no breakfast (but at least they dont say they do breakfast).in short the worst hostel ive ever stayed in.the owner seemed ok but would do well to invest in an internet connecion .

i like this place,it\'s clean and secure with helpful staff.what you don\'t get is a hostel atmosphere , but in my opinion what you do get more than makes up for it,that\'s loads of space, with private dining area/tv equipt kitchen with oven, fridge etc all in your own private rooms.the 2 ive stayed in have been bigger than some aprtments ive rented.don\'t be put off by the lack of organised \'fun\',your in rio and you dont have to go too far to have a good time.
