I was surprised at how good this place is for just 6USD per night. There is no elevator, but most places in Hanoi have no elevator. I would definitely stay there again my next time in Hanoi.

It's a good hostel right next to a train station. My only complaint would be that the receptions had no idea where I could find parking. (The lost nearby was full.) But since most travelers in Japan do not drive, this should not bother anyone. (Actually, even if you do drive, this would be just a minor annoyance. There is a park nearby and a lot next to the park with 700JYN/Day parking. We found by just driving around the neighborhood.)

This was a great place. It was spacious, clean, organized, and everything had easy to understand instructions in English and other languages. The wi-fi was decent enough. There was lots of free parking and the hostel was near a bus stop. (You can buy a day-pass for the bus right at the hostel.) Plus there is an onsen right there in the hostel. The place is down right beautiful!

Tokyo is expensive, so I can't expect too much form a budget hostel. The place was clean enough for the most part. My bed, sheets, and towels looked pretty clean, but I did get run over my a huge roach in the common area. The kitchen is quite small, and dirty looking. Because the place looks a bit run down in the lobby, some travelers don't make as much of an effort to pick up after themselves as they should. But, if you just want to stay for a night or two this place might be okay.

I love the K's Hostels. They are so clean, organised, and well run. This one is very spacious and warm. (I went in the winter.) There was free parking. The only downer was that the wi-fi didn't work very well. The kitchen is always clean and organized with everything clearly labeled. And, because everything is so smoothly run, all the travelers pick up after themselves. I'm only sad that I didn't choose to stay at a K's House when I went to Tokyo.

This hotel is mostly for people who have missed there train. It's not really a hotel one would stay in on a trip or for several days. It's just a clean and cheap place to spend the night. It's great for that. If you need cheap parking, look for the Max Valu gorcery store nearby. The lot in front of the store had the bast rate. Pack light; the rooms are small.

My main complaint with this hostel was that is was so hard to find. The place just blends right in and you can drive right past it and not even notice. It's not near any easy to spot landmarks. But, once there, we found the place to be clean and the staff to be friendly. All their records seems to be kept on paper and they almost charged us too much, not realizing that we already paid 10% by booking through HostelWorld. Once we showed them our printed conformations, then acquiesced.

Cons: The bathroom for the dorm style room isn't the greatest in the world. I couldn't figure out how to get the hot water to work, but that could just be me. The place is not very easy to find. Pros: The staff is very helpful and friendly. They really help you get settled into Beijing and make you feel welcomed. The dorm rooms were clean and looked nice. Everyone is given a locker with a key. So you don't need to worry about you values being stolen. Free internet and no password wi-fi!

It was generally a dirty place. The staff acts like they have better things to do than to deal with guests. You can stand at the front desk for a while before someone asks you if you need help. The walls are quite thin and you can hear everyone talking in the hall even though no one was yelling. The floor shook when ever someone walked down the hall even though no one was running or stomping. The location is the only thing this place has in its favor.
