Amazing view but that's about all. Capitalising on being the only hostel in Positano and therefore charging slightly under hotel prices. Doesn't seem any locals work here which doesn't make for a very local Italian experience. But seriously amazing views!
Land prices in Positano are amongst the highest in the world. We might charge close to what hotels in some places charge, but not close to what is charged in Positano. We have five local members of staff and two non locals (one of whom is a co-owner) working at the hostel right now.

Pretty crappy place, breakfast you can skip - it's just a packaged croissant and some cornflakes. Coffee smelt like beef soup. Too many beds crammed into one room, people smoke inside including staff at reception (common in Europe but annoying when you want to sleep), Internet was miserable and bins not emptied once during the 3 night stay. Positives were that the staff (girl) tried hard and was very friendly, gave a map with great suggestions. Was excited to leave, would not stay again

This place is gross. We checked in very late due to a delayed flight, the mixed dorm we were in was filthy with graffiti on the underside of the top bunk, the bins looked like they hadn't been emptied in weeks, no air circulation, showers looked like an old school gym with wet toilet paper everywhere, and understanding it being early hours of the morning the guy that checked us in was rude, uninterested and dismissive. Would prefer to sleep in a park than here again.

Absolute best hostel ever. The most welcoming and helpful staff I've ever seen, absolutely everything is included - I truly cannot fault this hostel on a single thing. I would stay here over a 5 star hotel, the service is better and the value is worth it.

Loved this hostel!! Felt more like a very sociable hotel. Very comfy beds, great showers, excellent laundry and fantastic staff! It's not on the main island so you have to take a vaporetti (ferry) between the hostel & main island and they aren't cheap (although we never saw a ticket inspector 😉). Would definitely stay here again.

Pro: Location, view, kitchen Con: Rooms cannot be locked DO NOT book the 4 bed mixed dorm. The only way into this particular dorm is by going through an 8 bed mixed dorm room. We thought we were getting a smaller personal more private room but you literally stay in a 12 bed separated by a thin wall and unlockable door and pay a premium for the privilege. Pretty deceptive
Hello, thank you for your comment. We have dorm rooms that is way we do not provide keys for the room. 4 bed mixed dorm is shared with 6 bed room and not 8 bed. The both rooms have private bathroom and balcony. All the rooms have lockers for personal things and security. Kind regards, Elizabeta Mavič, hostel manager

Security - 24hr reception but no lockers in room Location - walkable to town but residential area Staff - some staff incredibly rude and arrogant. Place is run by teenagers with zero accountability or customer service Atmosphere - dead. There's a few social rooms Cleanliness - room bins weren't emptied once Value for money - absolutely not worth it Facilities - kitchen is great, Internet station is good. Definitely avoid this place. They block money on your credit card without consent

Very basic accommodation, a big walking distance to town, included breakfast is really good but as all things in Switzerland are quite expensive it felt like really poor value. Rooms are basic, there are lockers but they are outside the rooms in the hallways where anyone can access so not a great feeling of security. Overall, if there is a cheaper option closer to town - take it.

It's very basic and I guess reasonable value for money if needing a cheap stay. Although the owner is extremely friendly, i found the room and bathroom less comfortable than appears from other reviews and the location somewhat frustrating as although you could walk to Kandy, you wouldn't as you have to walk through a tunnel not designed for pedestrians.

Fantastic hostel, great location. Not very personal though if travelling alone, felt a bit like a factory processing travellers - great if in a small group.
