Great hostel, just slightly out of the centre of town. Staff were friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast and tea and coffee were appreciated.
Highly recommended hostel in East Berlin! The hostel and rooms are beautiful and clean and there is a lovely tree-filled courtyard where you can eat your meals or just lie in the hammock. The communal spaces were good, with a really friendly atmosphere. The only downside was the tiny kitchen where the only place to prepare food in on the central table where everyone is sitting down trying to eat. Staff were helpful but sometimes a little overworked so couldn't help you out as much as you need.
Great hostel with friendly staff, an amazing sheltered courtyard and a busy bar for the socially inclined. Also really appreciated the secure electronic lockers in the dorm rooms. Thanks.
Only stayed here for one night so not overqualified to judge but found the staff to be a little bit overworked and therefore not totally helpful. The poor girl from reception was exhausted and trying to run the bar and reception at the same time (= large waiting times). The place felt too big and soulless with quite a varied clientele, from school camps to older travelers. Good for a quick stopover and decent night sleep but wouldn't stay long. The buffet breakfast was a win though!
This apartment was amazing! Dani (the owner who lives downstairs) was simply wonderful - warm, accommodating and so helpful. The four bed apartment we stayed in was beautiful, spacious and had a great view. The veranda was a lovely place to sit with a cool drink or to dry your washing. Stay here as long as you can!
Lovely room (3 bed apartment) and very kind host. Room had three comfortable beds, plenty of space and a good bathroom. There was also a communal living room with a computer for internet access. Had a great night's sleep.
Don't be fooled by the address - that's just where the office is. The accommodation is actually 500m out of town towards the east. Very crafty! Regardless, it was cheap and easy. Sarajevo is pretty small so it doesn't really matter that you're on the edge of town. Accommodation was a bit dirty, especially the kitchen but the room was neat and clean. Make sure you walk along the river to the Goat bridge (6km return) and do the walking tour by a guy called Nino (google it). Amazing!
Great friendly hostel in the touristy suburb of Sultanahmet. Really convenient location tucked behind Aya Sophia. The rooftop bar has a beautiful view and there's always someone up there to have a chat to. The buffet breakfast was delicious. We has a security incident where the one of the employees (who was drunk) woke my friend up from sleep (in the dorm) and was quite obnoxious and suggestive. Management may need to tighten training/rules around this type of behaviour.
Don't be fooled by the pool photo - it's pretty small and not altogether that private. Better to have a meal in the restaurant across the road (down the street towards the ocean a little bit) and use their much nicer pool. The room was pretty basic and the placed lacked atmosphere (was more like a hotel than a hostel/pension) however it wasn't overly expensive and we enjoyed the quiet, air-conditioned room. The buffet breakfast was great.
Fairly basic hostel in Chinatown. Staff weren't overly friendly and six bed dorm was CRAMPED (with two of the staff living in the dorm room). Bathrooms could do with a clean and the place is HOT (in early July). However, if you're looking for something cheap and basic it's no worse than other similar options around and conveniently situated near Pasar Seni (train station).
