Hostelle - Female Only Hostel

Amsterdam, Netherlands

It was very clean, pleasant, and convenient to public transport. It's only about a 15 minute journey into the city center, and is a really great option if your ok with using the metro a little. We cooked a lot, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There are also balconies you can use. It was very homey and comfy, I highly recommend it as long as your only objective in Amsterdam is not to party all night long

Katerina And John Hotel

Santorini, Greece

Do yourself a favor and stay at Katerina and John's! Everything you need is there or within walking distance, and the staff are so nice! Beach is 5 minutes away. They have cheap ATV's to rent too. Go to Acropolis for dinner like they suggest, it's really good with great service! Free shuttle to/from port is really good perk.

This place was really nice. It didn't seem like they cleaned the bathrooms everyday because the floors were always dirty, but that's the only negative thing really. Great beds. Didn't try the breakfast but heard it was good. We walked about 25 minutes into the center everyday, but its a lot quicker with nearby metro. Staff is really great.

Dear Mrs. Waller, we are very happy to hear, that you enjoyed your stay at Meininger Hostel Berlin Hallesches Ufer and hope that you will also be our guest next time you´ll visit Germany or in one of our other hostels in London, Vienna, Cologne, Hamburg, Munich or Frankfurt. I also apologize for the inconvenience you had with the dirty bathroom floor. We do clean them everyday. I´m sorry again. I wish you a great day. Jenny (Meininger reception)

Sokolska Youth Hostel

Prague, Czech Republic

The only thing I can complain about is the comforters for the bed. They do not look good at all. You do get a sheet though to use underneath it. The staff were really nice, acted like they wanted to help you which was refreshing after the last hostel. It was a good cheap place in a good location. Very walkable to the city center. Free coffee and tea is good too! Bakeries nearby

Hostel Yellow

Krakow, Poland

The sheet they give you doesn't fit the bed, so you sleep partly on a gross mattress. The girl working when we got there gave us room keys and let us pay and that was all-no directions, explanations of anything...we had to ask for everything, even a locker key. They did do our laundry though for free. Breakfast is white bread and cereal. I wouldn't give this hostel "best value" distinction, just "cheap bed".

Wombats City Hostel Munich

Munich, Germany

This location is perfect when you're weighed down with luggage. Quick walk to the old city and market. The breakfast is really great, lots of options for food. Great atmosphere in the bar. Really good choice!

RC Miguel Angel

Madrid, Spain

This was a really great place. The staff took good care of us while we were there. They even let us leave our luggage overnight so we could go out on Saturday night and catch an early flight the next morning. The breakfast was good and basic, but definitely enough. Rooms very clean. The only drawback is the street noise if your room faces that direction, because people are out all night it seems. This could also be because we were there Thursday-Sunday when people don't sleep. Perfect location!

Riad Massin

Marrakech, Morocco

For a budget riad that actually has clean beds you can\'t beat this place. The girls scrub the place and clean the rooms everyday. Rooftop terrace gave us all a nice place to hangout at night and relax after the day, which was perfect because Marrakech will tire you quickly. They can give you breakfast for extra price. Even though you have to walk down a sketchy street to find it, its not bad. look this place up on google maps before you go so you dont get hassled by kids who want your money

Soul Backpackers Barcelona

Barcelona, Spain

This would have been a great place if the people staying in our rooms hadn´t beenpacking to leave at 4, others coming in at 5, and a group of drunk people coming in at 6 having a loud conversation for a half an hour in the room where we were trying to sleep, all without the staff really enforcing their quiet hours. Everything else seemed nice, got free coffee in the morning even if I didnt order breakfast.

We're are sorry about this inconvenience. I personally was working the night this group of people arrived pretty late and others were about to leave. Even though, I told them to be quiet as they were entering the hostel, it took them a while to be silent and finally go to bed, this is something we can't control, we can't just control people manners and we can't either tell people not to pack their stuff at any time they need. It happened to be a busy night. Sometimes it works better if they hear from their same roomates to be silent than from the staff.

They give out earplugs when you check in...take them! Other than the noise every night everything was pretty good. Small breakfast, but great place overall.
