Big Hostel

Sydney, Australia

This place was convenient for me as I was using Central station to get everywhere, other than that really nothing special. My dorm room door wouldn't latch so literally anybody in the hostel could wander in at any time. Also the shower was terrible, barely warm water trickled out. Wouldn't recommend this place.

I had never stayed on this side of Paris before, probably not the best for tourists who could walk most places if you were at a different hostel, the beds were really comfy though! The bad things were the Internet - really dodgy connections and impossible to iMessage or Skype as they cut out and made you log back on all the time. Also the really angry breakfast woman who yells at everyone in French! We came for breaky at 9.40 (ends at 10) and she had already taken away all the food and coffee!

This is by far the worst hostel I've stayed at in London (maybe in Europe). Even though its fairly cheap you will not be happy here! The staff are rude and make you feel like you're interrupting their day by checking in (or asking questions like, where is my room?). The rooms/bathrooms are filthy (bed bugs?)! There's no lockers,

I really liked my stay here, great place to meet other travellers and pretty close to the station (but I little further from the old town), the Bosnian coffee and tea/cakes were lovely! The only thing that was a downside was when I was leaving lots of other people were also checking out and then we were told we couldn't keep our bags at the hostel, but would have to pay to store them at the train station, just seemed a little strange

I loved it here, the pool is awesome, great for summer in Spain! The only bad thing was the extra activities are very overpriced (18€ for the tapas tour is insane!) so I would suggest staying here then doing your own thing. The English breaky for €2.50 is awesome though!

I came to the hostel to have a night out of Tallinn, PROS: i got a room upgrade, so ended up paying 20euro for a double bed with ensuite and mini kitchen! CONS: there was no one else around so if you are travelling alone I wouldnt recommend Parnu. Also the wifi passwords are in capitals for some sections - they didnt explain this when I checked in, so just try both all lower and all caps.

this is a really cool hostel, great for friendly travellers - though maybe there should be limits on the amount of boys that can come in groups together (we had a bad bunch). its in a really cool area, the only thing that could be improved would be the wifi system (you seem to need a new code every time you log on and its impossible to use imessage with it as it logs you off too much) and maybe if they could keep the balcony open longer in the summer. but really good value!

The guys working at the hostel were great, the rooms and bathrooms are clean and nice. The bad thing was the Internet doesn't work for everyone (or sometimes it starts working after a day), there is an iPad you can use but not for Skype. (Which was a massive problem for me as my next stop was Prague which was flooding and I needed to call my insurance and hostels etc). I liked it here, the one thing they could change other than the Internet would be better pillows, but yeah it's a good hostel.

Stayed here for a second time, but only because we had already booked it and we were only coming in off a ferry at midnight to fly out the next morning so didn't want to be wandering around Athens looking for our hostel late at night. We're staying here twice for a night before and after visiting the Greek islands. The good thing about this hostel is the location, otherwise it's really not that good. This place is kind of out of the way for normal tourists, it suited us because we had a car and they had parking. Reception is only open at night so when we check in it was through the video shop downstairs and they had no record of our booking and tried to charge us the full rate (Eg they didn't take off the 10% you pay online), we ended up just waiting till later to talk to an actual hostel worker.
