This hostel was very OKAY. Nothing really special about it in the way I had hoped after reading other ppls comments. The showers are horrible. The water will either burn you or be freezing ALWAYS, even at 6am. Breakfast is ok, selection of meat, cheese and jam. They play horrible loud punk music over breakfast. The location is pretty far to come back to use the kitchen, so we didn't save much in that sense. Staff were average. Helped if you asked, but not overly friendly.

This hostel was in a nice building, but was completely lacking on the interior, especially given the price for a room for one night. The breakfast was pitiful (bread and cornflakes). You had to get a key for the lockers. Everything seemed to come at an extra chare (5% if you used a card to pay, £2 for luggage storage etc.). The location is a good 40min walk from the pier/train station. Would not stay here again.

The people at the desk were really helpful with lots of good advice. Rooms, beds, showers were amazing -- even had hair dryers! Would be nice if the toilets had soap. Welcome drink was nice and breakfast (1000huz) was delicious.

The hostel was nice. Huge with lots of space in the rooms and big windows. There were enough showers with hot water -- though they did do that really annoying thing where you have to keep pressing a button to make them work. It was nice to have the bar/restaurant downstairs. Pretty lively place to meet other travellers. I didn't find it too noisy, but I was on the 3rd floor. The under bed luggage 'cages' were very secure. Breakfast was simple (bed, jam, cereal, coffee and tea). Location is far!

Hi, It seems as though you just missed out on our new breakfast, we now have ham, cheese, yoghurt, fruit salad, extra cereals, and a great new menu to boot. You'll have to come back to try that! It's great that you enjoyed our amenities, the showers are good, and the timer is for water preservation. It's a great way to prevent water wastage. Our bar is great and ideal to congregate in, like you say. I'm glad you had fun. Thanks, St Chris Paris

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Staff are friendly, funny and do their best to make you feel welcomed. The hostel is spacious with plenty of room between the beds in the large rooms and numerous bathrooms. The only possible downfalls are that the internet can be slow and doesn't work in all the bedrooms (good reason to get into the common room and meet other people), the beds aren't the best or the worst, it can chilly in the winter, and not all the outlets work. Bonus: free drinks and snacks in the eve!

The pool is really nice. The tv/hang out room is super uncomfortable cause the couches suck. The 8 bed dorm is really cramped but the others were nice and comfy with good lighting. Breakfast is a bit slim, kitchen is good, there isn't really a bar unless you count to beers you can buy out of the fridge.

Get a room with a window the others are really stuffy and hot and kinda dusty...not a good place if you have allergies. Kitchen is nice. Bar is a fun place to hang out. TV room is not great cause it's so loud on the first floor (aka you can't hear the TV). The staff in general are really helpful and friendly. Especially a guy named Bruno. There is no real pool, and the events listed (besides spanish and maybe yoga/tango) don't actually happen. Still good though!

Hola Christina! We have those two kinds of rooms because there are some people that don't like the rooms at the front because of the sun lights or the sounds of the street, but those are just tastes. Our TV room is in our subsoil and on the first floor we have our communal kitchen, perhaps the day that you watch the TV there were lots of people cooking or eating, but thanks for the comment, we re going to think to do something about it. About the pool, in fact we never said that is "a pool" is more like a small pool, a tiny pool were you can refresh yourself; and about our activities, all Tuesdays and Thursdays we offer free yoga classes, all Saturdays nights a free tango classes, during the week one hour Spanish lesson for free as well, or we can program classes in the hostel, all Mondays we offer a free walking tour, all Fridays a free Tai Chi class, and there are some extra activities non-programmed such a live music at the bar, salsa classes, or some others. I hope you can come back to our hostel and enjoy all our activities and our front rooms. Best regards! OSTINATTO HOSTEL.
