This is a great basic hostel! There aren't heaps of bathrooms but we were never in a hurry so that was ok. The room we stayed in was quite full of beds but there were big lockers so a lot of people were able to put their bags in them. It's a little confusing to find, we always got lost, but the town in general is confusing so I think it'd be the same anywhere. The staff were very nice and the whole place was clean and nice to hang out in. Essaouira itself is lovely and I hope to go back again!!

There were 4 of us staying here and we all enjoyed it very much! The home made meals were great and the breakfast was also very nice. The rooms were cold at night but we were able to put on the heating which was very very much appreciated. Thank you!

Bada Bing Hostel Istanbul

This is a good place to meet people and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast is really the worst I've had in Turkey. The doors and the lockers are very loud to open so this is a problem for people who want to have a good sleep. The location is good, easy to get to and walking distance from both the blue mosque etc in the old part and the taksim square for bars etc. I probably wouldn't stay here again as I'd say there are better places for cheaper and more comfy. but not bad overall.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. THe breakfast was fantastic. The rooftop terrace was great. The location couldn't be better. This is both a hostel and a guesthouse so it was more a place for older travellers..at least when I was there at the end of October. So not the typical hostel vibe.

Great place, location, people, atmosphere. Strongly reccomend staying here, everyone I met was really happy with the place and many extended their stay because it was such a fun and friendly place to stay. There is also plenty to do and see around Kotor and the hostel organises tours daily to different parts worth visiting.

I didn't actually stay here because when I arrived at 1 in the morning they had given my room away to someone else. They sent me to their sister hostel which was not too far away so it wasn't so bad, just annoying. It would be good if they had called to ask if I was going to arrive first before assuming that I wasn't. Why else do we have to provide a phone number?

Hostel Ospitalia del Mare

Cinque Terre, Italy
86%

Great location to visit cinque terre. The hostel was clean and spacious, had a nice terrace to sit. No kitchen but there were plenty of places to find cheap meals. Breakfast was bread and coffee and cookies and was ok but finished too early in the morning so wasn't always worth wakeing up for. Internet is expensive and there is only wifi in one area. The reception is not 24 hrs which is important to know.

INOUT Hostel

Barcelona, Spain
94%

The hostel is great if you want to get a picture of the surrounds of Barcelona. It's about half an hour out of town so if you're just there for a short time it may be best to stay somewhere more central. The hostel is up a big hill and is a fair hike with packs and all but really worth while when you arrive. The rooms are big and spacey and the bathrooms really clean and modern. Only negative was one staff member who pretended not to understand what a guest was saying when he mentioned bed bugs.

Very nice place to stay. Clean, nice people, close to Grenwich and the DLR station. Lots of longtermers staying here whilst working so not really a typical backpackers hostel. Only thing I'd suggest is a kettle, microwave and fridge for common use as it is expensive and unhealthy to be constantly eating takeaway. Overall a great experience, ended up booking more nights.

Good place to stay if you're with friends and want your own space. Weekday rates are good but prices rise on weekends are a bit excessive. Was quite cold at night in the entire place, but hot water and kitchen facilities were good. Bit hard to have more than one person cooking at once, but this is ok if you're not in any sort of hurry. close to supermarket, there's free wifi, very secure etc. Would stay here again but probably in summer.
