The hostel is very central, very efficiently organised, spotlessly clean & with a good nutritious breakfast. There is even free drinking water. The staff speak good English & are very helpful.
The hostel was spotlessly clean, staff helpful, breakfast plentiful & healthy with good range, very centrally located
Our room was spotlessly clean & beds comfy. The staff spoke good English & were very friendly & helpful. We had the best internet connection in Mexico so far. The hostel was within easy walking distance of all the main sights. Breakfast was only sweet cereal, white bread toast & jam & tea & coffee. For 30 pesos it is possible to buy eggs or fruit & yoghurt & a few other options. Water, tea & coffee were available throughout the day.
The hostel was centrally located to the old town, our private room was spotless, the reception & kitchen staff friendly. Reception staff were helpful with good English. The breakfasts were varied, plentiful & wholesome. Big widescreen TV & lounge available.
Towel 2 euros, locker 2 euros, internet 2euros/day. Internet connection slow ++++ & only works near office, tables there to eat your food. Water in showers not always hot. Cabins tiny with no table, shelf or hooks so all towels, clothes etc have to go on the floor. Tents have even less space. Staff friendly & helpful. Pizza very good. A few items in shop to buy. Location great, bus to & from Venice stops right outside camp every 15 minutes (2.60 euro return). Bus also goes to airport, 5 euros.
Friendly hostel with good communal area. Breakfast of cereal, fruit & toast. Various teas & coffee available at anytime complimentary. Staff friendly & helpful. Double room clean. 6 minute walk to heart of old town.
Staff exceptionally friendly & helpful. Kitchen well set up. Double room very, very tiny with bunk beds. Showers on a different level to the toilets. Central location.
very clean, lovely view from window. Room has a fridge. A little hard to find though. It is located about 15 minutes walk from bus station up some steps (100), not actually on a road. Bus into old town costs 12 kune (about 1.80 euro) each way
This is one of the most welcoming hostels you could ever come across. Jamal & his mother cannot do enough for you. They are so kind, helpful & generous. Jamal picked us up from the airport & didn't even want any money for it (but we gave him some as it would be unfair not to). His Mum even did our washing for us. The pace is spotless , very spacious with a small kitchen attached & there are even DVD's to watch if you want to chill out.
Great hostel located centrally. Run by an Australian who has travelled extensively himself, Phil. He has thought of everything to make life convenient & comfortable. Everything is in good working order. Beds & pillows are super comfy. Good breakfast of cereals & toast. He even has vegemite!. Plenty of varieties of tea to choose from anytime of the day & coffee of course. Phil & his staff are very friendly & full of info. He has buss timetables, maps etc.
This was by far the most expensive accommodation we had in Macedonia. It is located at the southern end of the village called Lagadin which is a 15 minute drive from Ohrid. Although there are a lot of accommodation options in the village it did not appear to offer anything much in the way of restaurants which unless you have a car, it makes it difficult to get breakfast & dinner. The owners are very friendly & offer tea & coffee. We couldn't get an internet connection in our room.
Great little hostel in the centre of the old town. Staff were extra helpful with lots of info on things to do & a great sense of humour. Excellent place to meet other travellers.
Very clean, lovely breakfast with nice bread, jams & eggs, staff very friendly, internet didn't work in the room though, really need a taxi to get there as it is quite a walk unless you can jag thebus timetable

Our double room with ensuite was spotless. Location very central. Great room covered with foam mats for watching movies or crashing out after arriving on an overnight bus in the early hours of the morning (& no rooms vacated & available yet). Breakfast good & cheap. Bus trip prices a bit high.
This hostel had more of the Vietnamese entrepreneurial feel to it. The owner likes you to book everything through him. We were not impressed when we rebooked the same room to come back to the hostel after travelling north. We paid a $3 deposit & when we arrived back our reservation was cancelled. Fortunately there was a cancellation & we could have a room. When we left, he asked us to give a 100% review on Hostelworld. The hostel is about a 9 minute walk from the centre of town.
Great location in the heart of Lapa. Staff very friendly, good fun and spoke good english. They also made excellent caipirinhas. Breakfast good. Beds a bit on the hard side. Short of showers, often had to wait.
Great location in the heart of the old town. Spotless rooms, great breakfast, staff including the domestic staff very polite and helpful. Beds comfy.
Fabulous location in the heart of Lapa. Staff very friendly, helpful, good english, good fun and make great cheap caipirinhas. Beds a bit on the hard side and often had to wait to get a shower. Breakfast good.
Lovely setting in the garden with pool and outdoor sitting area. Rooms spotless, beds comfy, breakfast good, 10 minute walk from bus station. Staff super friendly and helpful. they had great long conversations with us in Spanish which we couldn't understand but they tried very hard. I was crook with a gastro bug and they were so lovely to us and even brought me camomile tea.
Great central location, good breakfast, staff had good english, helpful, rooms spotless, beds comfy. Staff can book onward tickets. Bar and cafe downstairs to mix with other travellers.
We highly recommend this hostel. The staff were just so polite, helpful & obliging. Their level of english was excellent and there was heaps of info about the surrounding area and mini tours to do from Chengdu to Tibet, Juizhaigou National Park etc. The rooms were spotless and the mattresses soft (a huge bonus for China). Wireless internet, common room, food, drinks all good.
We highly recommend this hostel in a very central location. We were the only people there aged 50+ but all the young people were very friendly and well behaved. The staff were very polite, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, efficient and spoke excellent English. Rooms and bathrooms very clean with soft mattresses (a bonus for China). The food was good and very fast. Drinks very cheap and even cheaper with happy hour.
Clean, central location, only stayed here in transit.
This hostel is fantastically placed in the heart of the "old town". James, the Canadian born Spaniard manager is so welcoming and even takes you on a mini tour of the area to orientate you. He also went out of his way to help us with a travel issue we had. There is a daily morning fresh produce market with friendly locals that give away fruit with your order. There are 3 local Panaderias and 2 small supermarkets and a great cheap Tapas Bar nearby.Local musicicans play in San Nicholas Plaza every afternoon. I
Blancha spoke excellent English and was a very warm and helpful host. Hostel was very centrally located.
