Lots of room to lounge around, including a huge back yard.Staff are very mellow and hospitable.Dorms are spacious ,with comfortable, non-creaky beds and lockers that can hold tons of luggage.Breakfast is simple ( 2 kinds of fresh fruit, American style breakfast cereal and toast ) but adequate.Location is a bit far from most of the main attractions , but not overly so , and the neighbourhood is safe and secure, with a big 24 hour supermarket just 2 blocks away. Excellent value for the money.
Reasonably close to amenities but very far from central train station ( about a 1 hour walk). Most of the staff are courteous , but none is friendly or exceptionally helpful. They just do the required minimum.Wi fi works only in lobby and breakfast room.Relatively cheap for Helsinki.
Excellent in almost every way. They also offer free tea and coffee.Only drawback is the limited hours for reception (10 a.m. to 10 p.m.) and for the kitchen ( closed midnight to 6 a.m.) , but it's not a really big deal.
Very close to the central train station.Staff are very friendly and helpful.Big outdoor patio and indoor common room.Unfortunately, the beds are saggy and creaky and upper bunks are stuffed underneath duct pipes.Overpriced, like everything else in Stockholm.
Very close to main train station.Good-sized kitchen and outdoor patio.Beds comfortable , but dorm rooms are close and stuffy.Huge lockers in room , but expensive.Getting wi fi is a big hassle.Overall a rather cold cavernous atmosphere.
Small cozy place.Staff are very courteous and easy-going and really make you feel at home.Dorms are very spacious, with power points, free lockers( no need for your own padlock),and very comfortable beds.Very clean and quiet, central location and reasonably priced.
Room was quite chilly.Door makes a loud noise when shut from the outside. Some of the staff are friendly and helpful, while some others are quite cold and brusque.About a 30 minute walk to central train station, but lots of public transit options nearby and shops and restaurants in immediate vicinity.A cosy-cutting compromise.
Very spacious dorms and very comfortable beds.Excellent security, with large lockers in the rooms and the lobby.Unbeatable location - tons of amenities nearby and the red line train is just a couple of blocks away.
Excellent attention to details in the design of the dorms;very convenient location;friendly, courteous, helpful staff; awesome outdoor patio . My 3rd stay here and will be back. .
Unbeatable location, low key but friendly and informative staff, and lots of facilities.Dorm rooms are very spacious and fitted with generous-sized lockers. Not a party place, but a very relaxing and practical place to stay.
Convenient and easy to find location.Quiet and clean dorms.Plenty of toilets and showers.Huge bar. Privacy curtains, power points, and under- the - bed lockers.A superior hostel for a reasonable price.
Not enough power points, some located just below top of mattress, and thus impossible to use. Double bed in dorm is really weird!, You could wind up being expected to share that bed with a stranger!Contrary to what one staff member said, the 2 single beds cannot be readily pulled apart as they are squeezed in between 2 built in nightstands.Otherwise, excellent location, helpful staff, and very reasonably priced.
Excellent location, courteous and efficient staff, quiet, and spotlessly clean.
Excellent location, spotlessly clean, better than average security ( they even have a security guard posted at the door). The dorms are very spacious and well-designed, except for one detail: the en suite bathrooms are extremely cramped. However, there are far more spacious bathrooms in the halls. This was my 3rd stay here and I will definitely return on my next visit to Hamburg.
A very relaxed, casual kind of place. Some of the dorms are in cabins out back with a beautiful old private courtyard that looks like something from a medieval castle.Overall, loads of character, extremely convenient location ( there also happens to be a 24 hour bakery/deli a few doors up),and the ideal kind of place to meet and chat with fellow travellers.
Reasonably priced,Very close to train station and easy to find.Dorms were totally quiet, but if you want to party, there's a huge bar downstairs.Excellent breakfast. Will definitely stay here on my next visit to Paris.
Excellent in every way.One of THE best hostels in the world.
Very convenient to Lincoln Park area (with a huge variety of shops and restaurants) plus free internet.Otherwise, adequate, but just barely so.They do not go the extra mile.
Outstanding in every way.
Pros: very centrally located, staff go out of their way for you, dorm rooms spacious, lots of bathrooms& showers, special lockers for charging electronic equipment. Cons: neighbourhood extremely noisy late at night on weekends, mattresses are very soft and backache-inducing, bed frames are too short for anyone over 5'10",inadequate heating in dorm rooms,coffin-sized shower booths,no back pack sized lockers, need to provide credit card imprint or surrender I.D. when checking in.
Dorms are very spacious, with big individual lockers, thick, firm mattresses and huge en suite bathrooms. Staff are very helpful. Central , yet extremely quiet location.
Central location, staff were friendly and helpful, dorms were spacious and well-designed, common room is huge and equipped with a bar, pool table, internet cafe, sofas & work stations.Overall, excellent in every way.
Fast and efficient service.About 10 minute walking distance to main train station. Clean, modern and very reasonably priced.Unfortunately, room was not adequately heated.
Close to almost all the major tourist attractions and within about 20 minutes walking distance from the main train station, and in a quiet neighbourhood. The mattresses are thick and firm ( no squeaking!), the beds are supplied with reading lights and power points, the lower bunks have privacy curtains, and the rooms are kept well- heated during cold weather. The halls are lined with beautiful and inspiring travel photos from the owners. The breakfast is superb.Very good value for the money.
Outstanding value for the money. Although you pay a bit more than average as far as hostels go, you get a lot in return:several different common areas-all huge, pleny of opportunities to get to know and to interact with other people, a theatre with live comedy shows(free),a huge internet cafe,a sort of deli counter- open late, tons of activities and practical information, and it's clean, secure and quiet ,with a subway station 1 block away.
Very economically priced for Amsterdam. A bit far from the centre and hard to find, but in a very quiet and upscale neighbourhood, and only a short walk from the Van Gogh Museum.Staff are very courteous and professional.Dorms are a bit cramped (too many beds too close together) and most of the upper bunks have NO ladders.Overall, though, very good value for the money.
Very conveniently located(the main train station is only a few blocks away and there is a supermarket right around the corner.Staff are friendly and go the extra mile for you.Dorms are clean, airy and spacious.
Within easy walking distance of both the main train station and the market square. The dorms were spacious, clean and quiet, lots of various little common areas in addition to the main common room.Colourful and original design.staff were very eager to please.
Location is excellent-right in the heart of downtown Krakow.Very economically priced for what you get.
This hostel is excellent in every way: the location is very convenient to the old town and in a pleasant, quiet neighbourhood, there is a grocery store right around the corner, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the facilities and the breakfast are first-rate. Outstanding value for the money.

The lady in charge is very easygoing and accomodating and really makes you feel at home.
Staff are very friendly and courteous and they consistently go the extra mile for the guests. The location is excellent-directly across the street from the main train station and only a few minutes walking time to pretty much all the main attractions.
Only one problem: the en suite lavatory and shower facilities are extremely small and extremely awkward to use.Otherwise, the location is superb, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very spacious, and the beds were most comfortable -the best I have ever across at a hostel ( and I have stayed at many different ones). The price is almost ridiculously low for what you get here.
Superb location: short distance to pretty much anywhere in central London.Great party atmosphere but, surprisingly, also a great place to get a quiet night's sleep.Excellent security: not only paid lockers of varying sizes that you can open repeatedly without having to pay again, but also very spacious ( free) lockers under beds.

Location is extremely convenient, common room is huge, immaculately clean and always open, and customer service is superb.
Extremely convenient to main train station. Very clean and modern. Like a top quality hotel, but at a fraction of the price.
Excellent location: amost exactly mid-way between Heathrow airport and central London, tube station a few steps away and all the shops and services you could want in the immediate neighbuorhood.Very clean and quiet. Staff were very courteous and helpful. One problem: hard to find. Tip: look out for the "Belushi's" sign.
