Eastwest Guesthouse

Istanbul, Turkey

A great place to stay! The staff are friendly and very helpful, the rooms are clean and tidy (as are the bathrooms!) and you can get fresh towels if you ask for them. The breakfast was basic but good and plentiful. Very well located near shops, restaurants, tram stops. The only downside was the steep and long stairs, but really not much of an issue given all the good points of Eastwest. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul and will stay again next time I'm in the city!

Ciak Hostel

Rome, Italy

A very clean, friendly hostel, wonderfully close to both the Colosseum and one of Rome's (rare) metro stops! The room was large, light, and airy, the ensuite kept very clean, and the cleaning service was amazingly thorough (even made our beds!). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would wholeheartedly recommend Ciak to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, pleasant, centrally-located and inexpensive place to stay in Rome!

Zorbas Hotel

Athens, Greece

A very pleasant stay overall. Plenty of extra bedding for chilly nights in a cupboard in the room, the room was small but had an extra room attached, and the ensuite was huge! Also, free internet was greatly appreciated! Although the neighbourhood is quiet, the metro stop is minutes away, coming back in the dark is fine, and the hostel is within walking distance of some parks, museums, and the market. Overall, good value for money for anyone after a clean, quiet, pleasant room in Athens.
