Oka hostel is a great, brand new hostel! Because it was so new there wasnt many people staying there. There is plenty of common areas and the room I stayed in (8 bed) had loads of rooms and plugs!! The shower was good (and hot). There was a big shopping centre about 5mins walk from the hostel. Some of the staff didnt have a lot of English but i didn't have any problems they were lovely and tried their best. They can pick you up from airport for 30 real which is great! I think it will be The host
This hostel didn't feel like a hostel, more like a motel with dorms on one floor. There were a lot of family's staying here and not so many backpackers which is what you mormally expect in a hostel. The beds were comfy but there was only two plugs in out room which has 12beds in it which was a bit annoying.. It's located pretty close to the centre. I thought the bathrooms and bedrooms could have been cleaner. The breakfast was amazing so much choice and made up for all the little faults :)
Was a really great hostel the owners were really really friendly! They will give u lifts places like the train station and the supermarket etc just to help u out and will give lifts even to places that u can't get to by public transport (you'll have to pay for these though). The hostel is really friendly it's just like a lil family in a way! there's free Internet, laundry, some food, shampoo etc there's a huge flat screen tv and loads of channels too and there are bbqs out the back
the hotel was really easy to find from the train station as it was sign posted, so this was a good start. I booked a double ensuit room and it was really cheap, it wasn't in the main hotel but was in an apartment complex that we were brought to by one of the staff (in a car) it was only about 5mins walk from the hotel though. the apartment was actually closer to the city. It was a really big room with a kitchen and a big bathroom. It was a lot more than we were expecting and it was really clean.
