It's very large and very clean. The staff are great and they have a lot of work and people to deal with and do it so well and professionally and don't lose their cool, considering all they have to put up with. I've stayed a few times, and they always try to give you the best experience. Rooms are variable in size and shape, so it's hit or miss, but usually it's fine. Bathrooms are extremely clean, as the rooms are too. Reasonably priced cafe in the lobby, perfect location.
We are so happy to hear that you were impressed with our hostel and its facilities. Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts and generous feedback.

Only complaint would be how tight the beds are together in such small rooms.

This place was perfect in every way. Maybe having a kitchen would be nice. Other than that, the most charming and safe, upscale neighborhood of Paris, great beds, great shower, beautiful building. Classy. Everyone at the front desk was helpful and with a friendly, happy vibe. Rooms are spacious , with little private corners that have 3 beds each.

I stayed here years ago and it was great then, now it's even better. Happy unpretentious atmosphere. I was there for a free pizza night and comedy show by local talent held there. Excellent front desk staff. Nice kitchen, free coffee. Great up and coming Brooklyn neighborhood which has attracted a creative subculture of it's own. Beds supercomfy, showers and bathrooms are spacious. Spotlessly clean. I rarely give a 100% review, but I really can't think of a negative.

Nice bed and shower, kitchen is okay. I don't like the location, it's safe enough and close to the subway, but there's nothing going on around the building whatsoever. Friendly enough, but not a place where anyone seems engaged with each other. For New York, a reasonable price.

As in other reviews, how strange, the room was so humid, all sheets, articles of clothing, became damp in no time flat. Good bathroom. Beds were nonetheless comfortable. The music played at the hostel on a thursday night till the wee hours, very loud, couldn't get to sleep, even with ear plugs. Breakfast not worth getting up for. Front desk rather uninterested. Didn't live up to what I was expecting.

Definately has improved. I stayed at Sobe about a year ago. The bathrooms have been redone. Everything was much cleaner. Some new staff, they were very friendly this time.

room was extremely small, but other rooms were larger with less beds. It's hit or miss. Mine was a miss. Bathrooms upstairs also extremely small, but downstairs were okay. No windows or circulation in the smaller bedroom and this makes it worse. Breakfast is bimbo bread, sugar cereal and not so good coffee. Very friendly staff.

My first night, there was a couple with two toddlers in my room, one cried thru the night. I changed rooms. The beds are separated by slightly more than one inch hollow cinderblocks, so the your neighbor is too close, in my opinion. Breakfast was 2 slices of white bread with margarine, a piece of fruit and warm coffee. They had it to you in a line from behind a partition. One morning, the guy handed me a plate with one slice of bread on it. Ridiculous. Pretentious staff. ugh.

Front desk was great, especially Jasmine. So were the people who clean and cook the meals included. 3 blocks from the Zocalo square, perfect location. The rooms have no windows, quite stuffy. Breakfast was good, but what was surprisingly good most nights was the free dinner. There's no kitchen.

Loved it and I'm going back. Kathy, the owner, was great. Knows the island well and wants to steer you in the right directions. Beds great, outdoor pool super-lux. The bathrooms was awesome, big plus for me. Very clean. A few blocks from the center, so it's quiet at night, which I liked.
Thank you for taking a moment from your busy life to add a kind comment. I was my pleasure to meet you and chat with you. I wish you all the best in life. Hope one day to host you again.

Wonderful staff and owners. Very comfortable beds and powerful air-conditioning, which is necessary in hot and humid Colombia. Very clean. One bathroom for every 4 people, so no waiting.
