Hostel was okay and clean. Unfortunately we had the room on the ground floor, which means you hear everyone going downstairs to the kitchen or upstairs to the other dorms, which was quite noisy. Staff was nice and very helpful. In the kitchen there could have been some more places to sit down, as it was crowded for breakfast.

as we were travelling as a couple it was okay to get a conjugal bed in a 4bed dorm. but i wouldn't sleep together with anyone i don't know in a double bed... everything else was very nice

The hostel was quite disorderly. when you come to the "reception" you will find yourself in an old living room, with dirty socks laying all over the ground. the rooms were ok, but there are only 2 bathrooms for about i guess 30 people staying on that floor. Checkout time is between 8 and 11, but at about 9.30am no one was there and it took me a while to find someone to get the key deposit back. there is no chance to keep your luggage, but they told me i can leave it in that old living room...

Very nice hostel and super location, was quite easy to find when you come from the metro. Definitely do the free walking tour, that was awesome. Just one thing i didn't like that much - the luggage room isn't locked and everyone can go inside whenever he wants, which means everyone could actually take your luggage. But everything else was very nice, a kitchen for preparing your own food would have been nice.

Except of the dust bunnies the hostel was basic but okay. we didn't see the common room because we were just staying for a night. you need to make your beds on your own, bed sheets and cover lay on your bed. we didn't see anyone and in our 7 people mixed dorm was just one more person except of us.

We had a nice time in Melaka staying at Roof Top Guest House. Rooms are clean and beds are huge. Unfortunately there were plenty of mosquitos in the house, so better bring your mosquito net. There are allways cake and fruits on the table and you can help yourself at anytime, that was really tasty.

Very nice hostel with nice and helpfull staff. Rooms are clean and beds okay, just a bit too squeaky, so everytime you turn around there was this squeaky noise...

we had a great time at Zackry Guest House. Very basic but nice and clean accomodation. It's not far from the airport and quite easy to find. Just the locks at the door didn't look very safe, but anyways if you keep your values with you it's fine...

I really had a great time staying at Jimmy Jumps. All the staff were really nice, making my time unforgetable. People even shared the waffles in the morning, that was awesome. One of the best hostels I've eber been to!

Unfortunately there was no staff in the hostel all the time (except of our check-in time), so whenever you had a problem, there was no chance to be solved. Hostelworld said, that there is breakfast, which was the reason we took that hostel and not another one next to it. But in the end we didn't have breakfast at all. The room smelled like someone smoked inside and the floor was smelly too. We didn't see a kitchen or kind of living room, so there was no chance to get to know other travellers...
