Galatia Villas

Santorini, Greece

The perfect hostel to compliment beautiful Santorini. We had some trouble finding it, with all the hills and lack of street signs in Santorini, but when we got there we were relieved. The owners were very amiable gentlemen and made everything a breeze. The outside of the hostel has a lovely courtyard, and the rooms were spectacular. Clean, not to small of a room with lovely decorations. The shower was a good size too. Although we only stayed here for a night, we wish we could have stayed longer.

Niriis Hotel

Chania, Greece

Lovely hosts, great location, average hostel. The staff was super helpful and the location was close to a bus stop that could take you anywhere. I've seen better rooms before, for ex. our room had a fly problem and even we asked for a double bed suite but somehow got a 4 bedroom cot set up, but you get what you pay for. Glad we stayed for 2 days, no more, no less.

Al Piccolo Clarin B&B

Venice Mestre, Italy

If you come to Venice, you MUST stay here! We only stayed here for a night before flying off to Greece but wish we had a chance to stay longer. The hostel truly feels hotel-like the common room, the furniture, linens and bathroom were perfection. It was super close to a bus stop that takes you into the city in 25-30 minutes. For breakfast you can even eat at a bakery located next to the hostel. I have stayed at plenty of hostels, this one tops the list. Hats off to Alessandro!

B&B At Home

Rome, Italy

I found this hostel very pleasant. We stayed for 3 nights here and could not have asked for a better stay. Carmen is a sweet lady who makes you feel welcome and ensures you have everything you need. Our room was fairly decorated nicely, fairly big, tv, fan and balcony included. The location is a 5 minute walk from the subway and it only takes 10 minutes to get to the heart of city. Great lunch and dinner spot around the corner that Carmen recommended too.
