very friendly staff. overall, a clean and comfortable place to stay in. location is a bit far from most things, but it's close to a bus stop so it's okay.

very clean hostel. I booked a 3 bed dorm and ended up getting the room all to myself because no one else booked. hostel is very nice, just a little out of the way from the center and the staff was nice enough, just that warm. would recommend this hostel, especially if you're looking for a clean place.

relatively clean and located very close to the long shan temple attraction. the only downside was that the room was very humid, especially after rounds of showers. nice common areas.

Very nice hostel! great facilities, relatively clean, and most importantly, a lot of great people! great location - great for night life and for going to other parts of the city since it's right next to the subway!

the common areas are really nice and the rooms are pretty clean. the only downside is that a lot of local koreans stay there and hem don't speak english and just speak among themselves, so it makes it really hard to meet people. very nicely located hostel though.

I booked a dorm, but got upgraded to a private with no additional cost! It was a pleasant surprise! The room was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again, especially for a private at the price that I paid. The only downside is that you don't really get to meet anyone because it's really like a hotel rather than a hostel.

A-yado Gion

Located right in the middle of the Gion district, this hostel is clean and comfortable! It even offers washing of laundry for free (drying for a small fee); I didn't actually do laundry, but that's pretty nice! The only complaints is that the female dorm that I stayed in was a bit small, so it's a bit of a squeeze with luggage and all, but nothing that you can't get around.

Thank you for your commrnt. We hope you enjoyed your stay here. Well, we have a small hostel and room. so when it is full in the room, it's a bit of a squeeze with luggage as you said. But we can't change the size of room and facilities. We will try to sord this problem out. We hope we will se you again!!

Very nice hostel. Very clean and organized. The only downside is that laundry closes at 10pm, so it makes it difficult to do laundry late at night (impossible, really). Very comfortable and highly recommended. The staff there are all really friendly and helpful as well!

The staff at the hostel were very nice. It wasn't the cleanest place. They only clean the beds by dusting them off with a broom. It doesn't seem like they actually clean the sheets.

The hostel is located a little in the middle of nowhere. The streets leading up to it isn't that clean and a bit smelly. the common area of the hostel is pretty nice with a kitchen and swimming pool. but the cleanliness of the place is very questionable though. we booked two beds and both of them (top and bottom bunk) both had dirt on the sheets. they also didn't seem to change the sheets at all from one person to another. definitely would not stay here again.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Hello, When u arrived you asked for a bottom bunk, because of your size you said you could not climb the ladder. The maids had made your top bunk with clean sheets and bed cover as we do for all our guests. It was you who asked other guests to change beds.I asked did you want the sheets changed and you said it was OK.I am also sorry the taxi driver charged you 180.000rp to go to Ubud,it is usually 150.000rp but we do not have control over the taxi service, which we call for free and make no money.

Very clean. The staff is constantly cleaning! I got cold in the middle of the night because of the AC, and the staff was great about it when I asked for extra blankets. Highly recommend them!

great security! you get keys for the front door, room door, padlock and locker! Joy was great! she gave great advice and even allowed us to use her washing machine for free! a bit on the outskirts of city center, but it's right near a bts skytrain station.

They picked us up from the bus station late at night for free and then gave us the same tutu driver throughout our entire stay, so we really got to know him. overall, great experience and a great value for the money considering how much we paid (we stayed in a private twin). the food we ordered from them was also quite good.

very friendly staff. nice and clean hostel. definitely recommend staying! relatively clean, just that the bathrooms floors tend to get a bit dirty because of the showers getting water everywhere, but that's all the bathrooms in se asia.

When we walked into the front door, it looked like an abandoned property. They gave us sheets, which were still wet and did not look clean. The towels were old and had black stains. In the room, we had to stay in the loft, which was made of plywood and not clean. The ceiling is low, so tall people have to crouch. The walls were not clean and had stray wires. When we walked out of the hostel in the morning, there was urine by the front door. It was also very noisy and uncomfortable.

Great, cozy little place overall. Location is a bit out of the way, but with the metro and bike rentals, it was not really that much of a problem. Place was relatively clean and the common area was very nice and cozy.

overall, great place. the fact that reception, lounge, etc. is all across the street isn't ideal, but not that bad. pretty clean.

the building is a bit shabby. the staff were really nice, though. we were there on a saturday morning and got hot eggs (freshly made on the spot), ham and cheese for breakfast; free. great location. no kitchen except for the bar where they serve food. security isn't that great. no locks on the room doors and the lockers themselves work poorly with most padlocks, unless you have a thick one or buy one from reception.

Brussels Hostel Grand Place

great location and it was relatively clean. most rooms had ensuite bathrooms, which was really nice. the only downside is that you have to walk to the check-in area with all your luggage to check in and then backtrack all that distance again to go the actual hostel.

no kitchen, at least i didn't see one at all. security wasn't bad, they give you a key card to access all the floors as well as your room, but there's not real lockers inside the rooms. the staff were overall good, but there's one guy there that's pretty young and doesn't seems to know much/give wrong information all the time. luggage storage is pretty expensive.

i loved this place. definitely the best hostel i've stayed in so far. super clean. free laundry (kind of, since they give you tokens to use for it) and free hot chocolate and coffee/lattes! the only thing is that the location is a bit of a walk from the train station (really just 15 minutes) considering the smallness of the town.

i had an all right stay. they kick you out from 10am until 5pm; you have to vacate the hostel during this time, which is highly annoying. they say it's for cleaning, but for all that time, i don't really see the place being that much cleaner. also, no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage several floors before reaching the hostel. will probably stay at a different place next time i'm in florence.

the facilities were not the best compared to the hostels the t i have stayed in, but the dorm did come with a washing machine that is free and not coin operated. that is a huge plus. owner was nice. overall, not a horrible stay given how much we paid compared to what other hostels were asking for.

Hostel Paradis

the hostel is nicely located in the center of the city, but the hostel itself does not really have any facilities to speak of other than an elevator that goes up and down floors. for common room, kitchen, computer, etc., you have to head to their sister hostel for it and that's probably a good 10-15 minute walk. overall, decent hostel if you just need a clean place to stay and internet (there is wifi everywhere, which is nice).

great staff. loved them. we were there on a weekend and they took us on a free tour saturday morning and then flaminco dance on sunday nice. very clean. definitely one of the best hostels that i've stayed at so far!

The female bathroom consistently smelled and the bathroom facilities overall weren't that great since the showers didn't drain that well and the bathroom was just a tad bit small for all the girls to be sharing. The staff were really nice though!
