Giovanni the host is very friendly and helpful, especially when it comes to travel tips. The place is quite far from the train station but easily accessible by metro. It is also not very far from the Toledo street, with restaurants, pizzerias and others. The rooms are small enough and the beds comfortable. I appreciate Giovanni's efforts to help travellers feel at home and must say that he succeeded largely. I would recommend this hostel and will go back there the next time.
The hostel is near to the main train station, which makes it easy to explore Rome. The staff is friendly and smiley. I was out most of the time and only came back to the hostel for sleeping then I do not have any more comment.
The hostel's location, staff and facilities are up my expectations. The rooms are spacious, very good breakfast, friendly staff. However during my stay, at one night, people were all waken up by of a very noisy tourist group without any intervention of the staff. I will definitely recommend this hostel.
The hostel is not very far from the train station. Staff is helpful, smiley and friendly. The atmosphere is impressive and facilities superb. I definitely recommend this hostel.
Lina the host made this small hostel become a real house for travellers. The atmosphere was very cosy when everybody gathers in the evening before going out together with (even) Lina for a drink or in the morning for a breakfast made by Lina. The hostel is really small and can only receive several guests, but that makes the rooms more spacious. There are lockers under beds. I strongly recommend this hostel and will definitely go back there the next time.
The hostel is not next to the train station nor the Old Town but easily accessible by tramway. This is a small one, calm and suits small groups of people who do not find noisy nights. The staff is friendly and helpful with useful advice about the city, foods, places to visit. There are lockers under the bed which help you sleep without worry at night.
The hostel is located just outside of the Old Town, which makes the trip very comfortable. A little far from the harbour, train station and bus station though, however the metro can greatly help. The staff is very kind and friendly. The rooms have enough space for everybody and the facilities are good.
The hostel was really clean, spacey and well-equipped, I was just wondering why there was not any wall outlet to plug my phone charger in the room. Just 5-10 minute walk from the train station, the location is well-suited for any trip to the city, either on foot or by bus/tram.
I really enjoyed the tour to Plitvicka Lakes organized by the Zagreb hostel network, which includes Swanky Mint. The hostel is not very far from the main square and the old town. Maybe you should provide the locks for the lockers, and improve the wifi too, I could not connect to the network in the room. Apart from it, I appreciated the cleanliness of the hostel and the friendliness of the staff.
The hostel is only five-minute walk from the Old Town. The staff is helpful and friendly. They keep the hostel very clean. I recommend it to everyone.
The hostel is situated inside of the Kotor Old Town, facilitating any trip inside and outside the town. But it can be difficult at first to find it, even by following the direction given on this site. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are kept clean and air-conditioned, equipped with lockers. However, one bathroom is not enough for two rooms. Anyway, considering the size and the condition of the building, I will not ask for more.
The guesthouse's location is perfect for anyone coming to Dubrovnik by bus or boat, easy to reach the old town thanks to the buses which run regularly. Kitchen, common room and bedrooms are clean. One (maybe only) thing to improve: the wifi, so that people in the ground floor can get access to the network. I really appreciate the staff, you are really helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here when I come back to Dubrovnik again.
The hostel is 10-15-minute walk from the city center, but it's a nice walk anyway. I stayed in a 9-bed room and it's clean, spacey, quiet (depends on your roommates only), has lockers. There are stores nearby, where you can buy goods to make your meal at the hostel's kitchen. The staff is really helpful and always ready to give advice, either on the stay in the city or on tours to the neighborhood. In overall, it was a pleasant stay at the hostel.
This hostel is located in the Old Town and just a one-minute walk from the Town Hall. It's an old building but quite renovated.
I like this hostel, it is located in front of the Main Train Station and not far from the Old Town (10-minute walk, on the way you may pass by the Tourism Office too). I also appreciate the idea to put a curtain for the lower bed.
I just stayed one day in Copenhagen so this hostel filled all my needs. It is located a bit far from the interesting parts of Copenhagen but not too far from the metro station, so commuting is easy. The common room is a bit dark, but I think it's OK for anyone else.
Bergen is quite small so from there it's easy to get to most interesting part of the city: 2-minute from the Train Station, 5-minute to the port and the main street, 10-to-15-minute to Bryggen and so to the funicular that takes you to the viewpoint from which you can see all the city. The security is guaranteed with lockers and card-key. Very clean also.
Near both the bus station and the train station, a five-to-ten minute walk from the center of the city, the hostel has a good atmosphere and friendly staff. The bathroom seems a bit old but everything work properly and it is clean moreover. The breakfast is also very good.
The hostel is easily accessible from the metro station Picoas, then there isn't any difficulty getting to the city center. The bathrooms are clean and spacy and so are the rooms, breakfast is another plus for this hostel.
This hostel is about ten minute walk from the old town, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Travelers can also gather together in the common room to watch movies or TV programs in a great atmosphere. The bathrooms are clean and seem well renovated. The decoration in the corridor and the stairs is another plus for this hostel, it reminds of the old town nearby. Good breakfast in addition. Sometime the staff goes to the beach and can take you with them to.
From this hostel you can access the main sites for tourists by foot: the Prado Museum, Cibeles Palace, Puerta de Sol square, and a bit further the Royal Palace (Palacio Real). The atmosphere is very good. The bathrooms seem small for one person.
Located near the old town and the metro station, this hostel is a nice place to stay because you find many places nearby for different activities: eating, shopping, sightseeing.
As they stated, this is a party hostel. They go out for party at night, even the staff (not all of them). So if you have a early plane or train the next day and you book for a stay in this hostel, make sure that the staff wake up early to check you out. Otherwise, this is a good hostel, especially for those who like party.
I don't have much to say about this hostel, as the others have said it all: clean (dorm and bathroom), safe (2 levels of security) and not far from the city (historic) center.
It's about 10-minute underground ride from Stephanplatz (I consider it as the city center from which you can access to many other monuments), clean and also located in a quite dynamic area (near a street with many shops, grocery, restaurant or supermarket). It's also near the underground station.
It's located in between the train station and the city center, so quite easily accessible. The hostel is recently renovated and very clean. The staff is very friendly as they usually speak openly to passengers. In my floor there is a kitchen where a group of friends can sit and talk after a long and exhausting day. I really like it.
I only stayed here for one night and most of the time when I was in Berlin, I was outside. It's a good hostel with a VERY generous breakfast. However, it's not near the city center but you have an underground station (U-Bahn) at your service for a 2-minute walk (even 1 minute is enough).
I arrived in Hamburg on a rainy - I would even say stormy - day, then I could not visit the whole city but to find a place to spend the night. This hostel is good though it's located a bit far from the train station. There are bus lines who connect two of them but I did not have time to find them. I had to walk in the storm but once I was in, everything is fine. Large room, television provided (though there was only the CNN channel that "spoke" English, the others were in German) and clean beds.
It's near the station, you have to walk a bit (there is a bus to the train station too). I only stayed here for one night so I was pleased with this hostel: quite quiet, good bed and clean restroom.
This is by far one of the best hostel I have ever stayed in terms of quality/price ratio (of course it is because that it is in Czech Republic). Clean and large rooms, large common room also, located between the train station and the city center. I was pleased to stay there.
Just in front of the train station, this hostel is at a reachable distance from the city center. I had to catch a train at 6h30 and I woke up at 6h, without worrying about missing it. There is a bar which offers you one drink for the voucher that the reception gives you when checking in. The rooms are quite large and clean, and I have met some new friends there.
It's not far from either the city center and the main train station, and its quality/price ratio is really interesting. I would recommend it to other visitors.
The site is far from the city center and the beach, let's say it's situated near the end of the tramway line. However, it's a good place if you want to meet people and talk, especially in the bar. The rooms are very clean.
I stayed only one night, and I won't regret having chosen this hostel...
I just stayed for one night but it was very comfortable.
The shelter is located in the Jordaan area, not far from the station and the Dam place, quiet place to stay at Amsterdam.
They make me regret for staying in Rotterdam for just one day...
The hostel is a bit far from the train station and the city center, but not much. Rooms and beds are clean. There is not locker in the room then you have to be careful, but everything seems to be safe there. I you stay in Antwerp for a short trip, this hostel is suitable to you.
Near to the city center, with a small bar and nice staff, but in my room (room 2 in the 1st floor) the hot water didn't work.
Not far from the Bruges Medieval City, the staff is very nice and helpful, but in my room (room 2 at 1st floor) the hot water didn't work.
Not far from the metro station, the ambiance is good (especially when everybody watches the WC matches together.
The staff is really helpful and nice, the gentleman who, I think, runs this hostel does not speak english very well, but he can speak french and (of course) italian, and is very friendly. This place is clean with nice rooms, perfect for groups. There are hot water and free wi-fi. The hostel is located in a quiet area, a bit far from the center but you can easily go there by a bus nearby (bus58). If not, 30-minute walk is enough. Not a place to meet people, but anyway Torino is not for tourism...
