Very nice staff. Nice to come back to somewhere quiet where no alcohol or smoking was allowed. The showers had absolutely no water pressure so it took three times as long to rinse off.

Stayed in the 66 bed dorm, it was a lot better than anticipated but the lockers are tiny. Huge kitchen. Very friendly band social hostel.

Backpackers St. Pauli

Pretty close to some good restaurant. Far way from the harbourfront and main attractions. Rooms tiny, big lockers. WiFi was bad, we had to use the computer at the reception and there was only one available. No city map, just a map of the area (st. Pauli).

Sorry that you did not feel comfortable. About the WiFi: We got that one fixed. We do have maps (St. Pauli Tourist Map) or the City Map (Sandemans New Europe). If our guests need more informations - we are happy to help. St. Pauli is one of the main attractions in Hamburg. Townhall, Lake Alster you can reach by bus No. 3 within 13 minutes. Harbourfront is 15 minutes walking distance. regards, Tanja

Internet was only available for three hours per day. You got a voucher with a username and password from the reception that let you log on for three hours continuously. You couldn't disconnect and reconnect. Showers flooded up to ankles in the mornings.
